Brother Gilbert

He retreats to near the boulders, saving his energy for healing party members after the fighting is over. He will perform regular first aid on his wound.

He mutters, Next time, I shall position a larger person in front of me, before appealing to Pelor to turn evil creatures.

Galanthas nods to Chauncey's words and, taking a better position he fires two arrows at the remaining zombie.

Short bow - To hit: [1d20+1] = 8+1 = 9 (elf); Dmg medium/large: [1d6] = 3

Short bow - To hit: [1d20+1] = 1+1 = 2 (elf); Dmg medium/large: [1d6] = 6

Fumble effect:[1d20] = 3

Seeking Out The Jungle Priest
Starday, the 13th of Goodmonth
Late Morning, Misty, Hot, Buggy

Luther hacks up a bit of blood, still ready to stand and fight. Jaxsen and Glalnthas also look about ready to fall. Little Mr. Wrenly could probably take any one of them down in their current conditions. They are offered no aid for their ailments.

Chauncey wisely suggests missile fire on the entrapped monsters, hitting another skeleton with his tiny dart. Galanthas agrees, watching as Jaxsen finishes off the wounded zombie before he can fire. He targets the closest skeleton instead, hitting it with his first arrow while shattering the second against a tree. A shard from the shaft hits his friend Wes, almost taking out his eye in the process. 2 dam The bleeding druid then smashes in the skull of the skeleton in front of him violently with his enchanted club.

Monocar suggests that someone help Luther while the others form a line against the monsters that will be freed from their magical restraints in mere minutes.

Avaala and Treasure keep watch around the area from where they are. The woman on the rocks suddenly disappears again once everything seems to be under control. She calls to her injured priest friend who is tending to his own wound. "Wow Brother Gilbert, good job chasing away those zombies. Doesn't that trick work on the boney ones? Hey, I'm no healer, but it looks like some of your friends could use some help over there."

Luther
Luther shakes himself, almost as if he suddenly realized how badly hurt he is. He sheathes his sword and reaches for his bow.

Seven heavens and Nine hells! Anyone got some arrows to lend? I'm down to my last one.

Wes

As he drops the skeleton in front of him, Wes is suprised both by being nicked by the arrow fragment and by the fact that there's still another skeleton in front of him. Under pressure to kill it as fast as he can so he can help the party deal with the other skeletons, he takes a wild swing.

Magical Club (THAC0 17) [1d20+1] = 17+1 = 18; S/M [1d6+1] = 6+1 = 7; L [1d3+1] = 2+1 = 3

Chauncey has one dart left, until such time as he is able to regather the ones he’s thrown. He squints and takes careful aim at the entangled skeleton. Mr. Wrenly peeks out from under Chauncey’s hat, sees the skeleton mere feet away and disappears again with a screech. The mage lets loose his projectile:
Attack with dart (THAC0:20): To Hit [1d20] = 8, Damage vs s/m [1d3] = 2, vs Lg [1d2] = 1
“There’s something wrong with these darts! They lack balance and accuracy!” he exclaims.

Avaala the Grey

Avaala looks up towards the once-again invisible archer."Pardon me, but I could not help but hear you mention a 'He' as you asked yourself how many of the undead he has sent this time." Avaala pauses to let the intro sink in. "It would certainly aid us to know as much as we can before we pit ourselves against 'He'. And I believe that would be Gorman, correct? I don't pretend to know what his plans are, but they certainly don't mean any good for us, the town..... or Brother Gilbert. Will you tell us what you can?"

Jaxsen Reiter

Jaxsen, not healed yet, but still willing to fight, once again takes up a position on Monocar's rear left flank, fighting from under the Man Mountain's protection. "Wes!" he calls. "Where does that spell of yours start? I can reach in and attack these things with my halberd!"

If Monocar advances far enough for Jax to attack, he will.

Galanthas the Wise

Galanthas tries to fire two arrows at the skeletons on the trail.

Short bow - To hit: [1d20+1] = 12+1 = 13 (elf); Dmg medium/large: [1d6] = 3

Short bow - To hit: [1d20+1] = 15+1 = 16 (elf); Dmg medium/large: [1d6] = 4

Hearing Luther's query, he shouts to him: "Luther, take some arrows from my quiver!"

He still has 16 arrows if I recall correctly.

Seeking Out The Jungle Priest
Starday, the 13th of Goodmonth
Late Morning, Misty, Hot, Buggy

Wes finishes off the final skeleton he had entrapped in the jungle just as Chauncey tosses his last dart away, much to Mr. Wrenly's disapproval. Monocar pushes his way in front of the mage at the edge of the writhing plants still holding the undead fast. Jaxsen follows the huge fighter, trying to reach a target without getting caught himself. He misses his mark.

Luther calls for some arrows as he and Galanthas move closer to the held targets. Together they take down the first 2 skeletons in the line, leaving only 4 more to deal with behind those.

Brother Gilbert remains quiet as Avaala continues speaking with this unseen woman. Her voice moves towards the dead skeletons as she talks, and the mage notices a few of her still intact arrows suddenly being jerked from the pile of bones on the ground, disappearing shortly after he sees them move.

"Yes, the "he" I mentioned would be Gorman. And you should definitely listen to what I have to say before confronting that lunatic. He is evil personified, and does have dastardly intentions for you and for Beachtown. And I should know........because.......you see.........I work for him."

Wes

Wes briefly considers casting another spell to keep the skeletons entwined. However, the noises he hears from the rest of the party tell him that their archery is taking it's toll, so further magic would be unnecessary.

Instead, Wes moves back into the jungle. He positions himself just beyond the tree where he tied his rope. Once the spell wears off, he intends to ambush the rear of the skeleton column as they move down the trail.

Avaala the Grey

Avaala follows the path of moving and disappearing arrows. "I take it," he says. "From the way you call him a 'lunatic' and 'evil personified', that your employment with him has not been to your liking. So, believe me, we will happily hear anything you want to say." He stops then, intending to hear all she says before asking any questions she doesn't address. He does not want to insult her by cutting her off.

Jaxsen Reiter

Jax continues to hold the line right behind Monocar, ready to deal with any skeletons that get past the missile attacks of the others.

If one of the skeletons makes it within Jax' halberd striking range:

Jaxsen w/ Halberd to hit [1d20] = 12
Jaxsen w/ Halberd Damage vs. S,M [1d10+1] = 2+1 = 3

galanthas will in turn attack any of the remaining skeletons, aiming preferably at one that's further from any of his companions.

Short bow - To hit: [1d20+1] = 19+1 = 20 (elf); Dmg medium/large: [1d6] = 6

Short bow - To hit: [1d20+1] = 3+1 = 4 (elf); Dmg medium/large: [1d6] = 2

Brother Gilbert

Seeing how injured Jaxsen, Luther and Galanthas are, he prepares to attend to their wounds... if they would slow down enough! To the forest Lady, I will heed your wise words, as soon as they cooperate. I am prepared to heal some of their wounds, when they are ready.

Luther

Luther makes a quick grab for Galanthas' quiver, collecting 6 arrows.

He draws and fires at the first skelly.

attack [1d20] = 14
arrow [1d6] = 5

He's taking his time with each shot- so he'll only shoot 1 per round.
