Having calmed himself from his previous outburst, Orrin plants a fresh ale in front of both himself and Dorvar, leaning over to whisper in the dwarf's ear.

"Come on cousin, drink up. Don't embarass us in front of our friends!"

He hoists his tankard and drains it:

Martin takes his time with his fifth mug of beer. As he gets close to the bottom of the mug, he starts to get a pained look on his face. As a few people lean in, thinking the cleric's previous drinks have finally caught up to him, he lets out an emormous belch. "Oh, that is so much better", he proclaims with a grin. "Plenty of room for more now."

Varas tips back another, trying not to be intimidated by the dwarves and the cleric. He knows his strength isn't chugging, so he continues to sip at a leisurely pace. His fifth goes down almost as easily as his first with minutes to spare.

Orrin thinks the atmosphere has gotten a bit too serious as the real drinkers have grimly settled in for a long, hard fight. The lightweights have bowed out and it's gotten quiet as people slowly drink themselves into oblivion. He decides to liven things up a little.

"Hey, check this out!"

Somehow he manages to upend himself and hook his stubby legs on the bar, hanging upside down with his hair brushing the ale-sodden floor. He lifts the tankard to his lips and drinks the entire pint whilst hanging there.
