That's why the PG/FG stuff is useful; you can carry an effectively unlimited ammo supply. Yes, you get spotted, but you don't just stand there and let them take a shot at you.

I think it's the fact I've mostly been GM rather than player over the years: I like to sit with the books and work stuff out.

For games that is. I intended to get my accounts for last years tax done over lockdown instead of waiting 'til the end of January like usual.

I have started a new campaign, producing a whole pirate crew of fully generated NPCs and detailed armoury and Ship's Locker instead...

Indeed! Also Fusion/Plasma can't be shot down by PD systems (but an auto GL can overwhelm them).

I was simply anxious that amongst all the shopping and preparations you don't forget you already own one (with a grav pack to make it weigh 1/10th of usual).

Worth bolting onto a vehicle if you do nothing else with it? Likewise for the literal "pile" of Ma Deuces you've "liberated".
