"I think the go in and demolish approach worked for us last time. I can use my magical dagger and Thordin has his magical swords, or we can all stand clear and let one of the magic users shoot off a magic missile. I am good with whatever., as long as we clear this floor. I like the idea of Lanny staying invisible as long as possible."

Lanny nods at Rhys.
“Agreed, we can come back to the castle at a later date to deal with the mold abatement in this room. It would be best to come prepared not only with a source of fire, but also with protective masks for safe breathing. The whole room probably needs to be scrubbed.”
Closing the door behind him, Lanny agrees that it is time to descend the stairs. Like Rhys, he favors the eastern stairs.
“That is the one unexplored area of the castle in which wandering monsters might still be lurking. Let’s check that first. Also, I would like to see if there if another wizard statue in the eastern wing like the one in the western wing... and if it has a similar or identical inscription engraved on it.”
Lanny turns to Innana.
“Fear not, Innana, we shall get that other humanoid statue moved off of its pedestal, to see if something lies beneath it. The trap has already been sprung, so maybe we can just knock it over? Bregalad and I are pretty strong, we should be able to handle it…”
