One thing that Jaelah knows as a former law enforcement officer is that the security service might be paying attention to the attendees. With this labeled as a drunken driving accident, they shouldn't be there but they also shouldn't have taped off her apartment and responded like that. With that in mind, they might be interested in who is there and how they behave.

It's not hard to see that there are others looking for runs of inexplicable good luck. A couple of floor managers is making the rounds to make sure nothing hinky is going on. They seem vigilant.
