So are we still "cursed to servitude" or now "freewilled"?
Oh... and as per our new courtly ranks.
I believe "of Queensberry" is possibly vacant but we're all waiting to see who applies for "de Sade"...

I don't remember ever saying you were cursed to servitude. I think that was in your head. Looking back, I find that Aster said that after spreading humans around, that the Ancients likely expected servitude from them and took steps to make sure they got it. Not that YOU would be cursed to do the same thing. You are free agents.
And he might just take it.

All good!

I may have misconstrued a phrase along the lines "that over time we would appreciate(?)" our Ancient "benefactor". If there's no compulsion there that's fine.

No compulsion, just that the being felt you would appreciate the gift given.

Walt’s Self Improvement was working on Telepathy 1. Now it shows ??. I think he’s still working on Telepathy 1.

You already had Telepathy 0, so two jump sets of training accomplished it. You have Telepathy 1. There was a post announcing the gains for everyone.

All the character sheets have ??? for the skills that will need to be rechosen next jump. I'll ask everyone to choose them at that time.

OK, cool. Character sheet does not show the Telepathy 1 advance, and I can't change it.That explains the confusion.

You must be mistaken! I would never make a mistake like that! See? It's there! Go get your eyes checked!
I had it right on the skills sheet where the calculations are done. That's something.

I shall perform self-flagellation...I see that now on the skills sheet. Cool!

Rolling and posting in prep to insert it in turn order:
Melee Unarmed: [2d6+10]=12+10=22
Add another +1 for Fighter 1 from Path of Physicality
Let me roll damage to his wrist(s) then add it here.
Unarmed Damage: [1d6+17]=3+17=20
AP 2

I think the salient question was, "what do you want, Roscoe?"

He's a bit dense, so you'll actually have to spell that out a tad so he can misunderstand.

Feel free to make it that blunt to start and work from there to save retyping.

I like to think of this as Ciencia having a ball flying one of the super speeders that Walt just found.

Funnily enough I blundered across the below on the internets and thought it depicted something of the dynamic between Garvin and Aster. She's classily attired while he's dressing down but nevertheless clearly hoping to make amends by impressing her with the dimensions of his pipe...

I already have one self-rescuing princess with high-end combat implants that favors powered armor. Should I go for two and give Fredrick heart failure?
