Raffi will follow just outside the tail end of the coins light, moving silently.

Androgst nods at the mention of two creatures observed in the ambush. "There is probably more, but I'm ready to spring this trap. I can go left and take out that one - who can go right and take that one out? What about light - throw a coin or torch in first? If they can see in the dark, some suddent light may blind them and give us an advantage."

Boff "Dunno, but our friend may well have encountered tha same down the way they went."

Most of the group moves up (all except Raffi that is hiding back in the darkness). Hexes light while is not light up the two "hidden" figures, it is no doubt that they would know the light is there.

Androgost is ready to spring the trap and is looking for a second to run the gantlet with him. Boff is not to sure having felt the bolt before. Qleceec and Nah Olos are trying to figure out the location of the Druid without any luck.

Qleceec gives Nah a thumbs up, then readies herself to run the gauntlet with Andron.

Hex moves forward to extend the continual light. He will ready his wand incase things go south.

Raffi will move up with the light sphere as it moves, staying just outside its edge, normal sword and normal dagger at the ready. He will keep at least some of his attention to the way behind in case something creeps up or they need to beat a hasty retreat.

A plan starts to form. Garrant casts a Prayer spell on the members of the group except Raffi and most likely Siouxsie. Androgost and Qleceec have their swords at the ready and some adrenaline starts to flow. Nah Olos climbs back up as high has he can and gives a thumbs up that he can only see the two hidden figures.

Androgost and Qleceec start their charge when suddenly there is a large crashing sound followed by the sound of moving water some distance from the group. (The sounds are coming from the direction the duo is running). The duo knows that at this point they are committed and with the hidden figures not reacting to the sound they continue down the corridor.

The two slender dark-skinned elven figures each attempt to fire a hand crossbow at the two charging fighters. This almost futile attack bounces off the two fighters armor. Allowing the two melee combatants a chance to attack (with a +2 bonus not counting the Prayer). Both are bound to notice that the area beyond these two dark elves is shroud in magical darkness and the rushing water sound is coming from the direction of the northern passage.

Actions?

If one or more of dark elves survives Androgost and Qleceec attacks then, the party will need Initiative (since charge rules covered this round) and the dark elves rolled 9.

At least I probably hit, even if I scored minimum damage both times.

Androgost rounds the corner eager to enter combat and prove his worth once more.

Hex will move forward to illuminate the passageway further, but will try and keep his body behind the corner to get some cover.

Raffi will also move with the light, and then begin to climb the wall in case a flood is coming.

The sound of the rushing water continues from the northern passage, but it not really getting closer!?! It is clear that it is thousand and thousands of gallons. Both the northern and southern directions are dark from some darkness power. Androgost and Qleceec have charged their opponents and both managed to slay the a dark elf. Boff moves around the corner and wants to target the dark elves, but with the elves hidden, the two fighters running down the passage and the slaying the two elves there is no target for him. Nah Olos remains hanging on the wall about 4'-5' above the ground with his head at the top of the passage. Garrant and Hex are both trying to get that position right around the corner, but Garrant was there first. Frannie remains lost as to what she should be doing and Raffi follows the lead of Nah Olos climbing the wall.

For the moment, Siouxsie spends another round out of sight of the group.

Yelling, "Hex, can you tell if that water sound is real?"

Androgst whispers loudly behind him, secrecy no longer a concern, "this darkness ahead appears unnatural. These must be guards or scouts," and he nods to the dead elf at his feet, "there is sure to be more ahead.."

Boff "I hope it is real water not some spell er somethin." he comments.

Hex calls back, I used my detection spell already today. I hope it IS illusory. Or we are all done for! He will walk to the crossroads and let his continual light wash along both northern and southern passages, hoping the more potent magical light will wash out the enchanted darkness.

Raffi will stay where he is near the top of the wall in case it IS a real flood coming. If it’s possible he will try and get a Piton into the wall to hang on to
