Are those red dots additional markings? Can Frank remember much from his high - school geography lessons? Do they appear near the location of his family?
OOC: No, I think they must be settlements smaller than the labelled cities. So not sinister as far as any IC knowledge goes.

Notice roll
The Colonel is very busy right now, I'll check to see if I can pass you through
Klaus is no expert on xeno-biology but as he's handed his kaf he's pretty sure that the "cat" is walking with a limp/favouring her right side.
Seeing the limp Klaus moves to block her
Miss, I need you to wait until they say you can go through. Are you injured?
Have we got a medic in here?

The two other ranks that quit taking down the bar to greet Klaus are Corporal Charlie and Trooper King of the QSM's cavalry troop. An strikingly attractive trooper with her work fatigues knotted about her waist and a vest barely containing a truly impressive figure waves a screwdriver at Charlie and says
"We'll just get on here then shall we, Corp?" Klaus has to accept that if this trooper were selling screwdrivers or indeed anything she's get some custom. Charlie cheerfully prods his rank tabs and states
"It's not bird shite - get on wiv it!" Then "delegating" the small aid kit from the bar to the Trooper he volunteers
"Kingy's 'ad a stretcher bearer course". Trooper King seems less keen on assisting arguing
"I'm only trained on one end!" He then exclaims
"..ek my old boots, Aslan! Erk... I'm not authorised for... um... civilians, Sarge. You can't go lookin' underneath civvies - I'd get sued, Sarge! An' that's Miss Polly's... lady in... wossname. 'Ang on - I'll try me Aslan". He then pitches his voice into a basso growl and shouts slowly
"Can - we - 'elp - you - Miss?" in Galanglic.
Through clenched teeth the female Aslan speaks into the translator as she leans against the wall
"I serve the honour of the Iyhlua clan and SEMC. The Warlord Cross must know I did my duty. The Twilight draws near... in company with Thunder...". She slides down the wall and goes quiet.
Charlie orders
"Kingy do what you can! Kek the bed! This is ruddy officer borrocks an' no mistake - Shugs call the QSM!"

Frank
Hearing Klaus call over the comms, Franks attention is diverted from the map of his home world and his concerns.
"Cross here, I'm available for Sazanami. I'm in my office, but I can meet on the way, where are you. Is Polly not with her? "
He stands and heads towards the door.

Don't give me that shit look after her, that's an order it's on my responsibility.
Colonel, she's hurt bad, she just passed out. I've got the lads looking after her just now on the hanger deck.
She's rambling about " Warlord Cross must know I did my duty. The Twilight draws near... in company with Thunder."
Hurry sir she looks in a bad way

He makes best speed to Klaus. On his way he sends a medical alert to the clinic for emergency assistance and tries to contact Polly.

Reluctant allies? Can’t say I’m comfortable with any of it. You make a good argument, but it’s still just manipulatin’ people.
I came out this way because it’s a civilised independent zone, not like the chaos in the Outrim. I don’t mind frustratin’ the Imperium takin’ over these worlds, but I draw the line at workin’ with the en… well, handin’ power to anyone else.
You’re Swordie an’ Joe, that’s fine. Don't care where anyone comes from, so long as you don't bring it to work.
And if anyone messes me about with that Woo stuff, I’ll do for ‘em.
Tliablzhdilatl/Erica responds
“Jessica Henker you were my comrade but now may only be my ally of convenience and, as you ask, I will not touch your mind without reason. Do not think me critical but I observe that you embrace the freedoms of this civilised independent zone to facilitate and harness those with an anti-societal imbalance and seem entirely able at gathering local power and handing it to none but yourself. Indeed a man so recently feared failing your organisation as to offer you his life in consequence. I'm quite surprised that you yet find room within that circumstance to fear propaganda driven suggestions of mental coercion?”
She states soberly
and maybe with an oddly unexpected touch of self conscious humility?* “The activities of The Purge were intolerable... and so their extinction was brought about. Yet I believe that those who seek to shape the destiny of this District should not necessarily compete with others in that undertaking. Or indeed as to the monsters that they can make of themselves?”
She adds carefully
"Может быть, когда все уладится, мы могли бы поговорить, Авторитет?"
(OOC: Alas, late and a little out of time...
* Or maybe some xeno related non expert interpretation error?
Or... hullo???
Or maybe not.
Within all PCs knowledge "Erica" has successfully counseled numerous SEMC personnel during transit time in Jump as a Psychiatrist
pro bono. This is her primary medical field where she pays for the up keep of and volunteers part time in a MidSpire clinic on Collace. Her voluntary outreach work in PTSD counselling for combat vets is so sufficiently reprorted by non state media as to be actually "verifiable" on Collace.
If anything Jess feels she's being presented with a gambit/negotiated with).

Frank, Klaus, All at the Bartizan
Klaus sees the assembled soldiery attempt to render first aid. The comments aren't encouraging
"She's breathin' - but barely! Look for a wound. Field dressing... torso wound! Still bleedin'... s'not good that... Fek wot caused that - ruddy laser???"
Fortunately at this stage one of the Ambulance corpsmen arrives and takes "primary" charge. The unit Medic works calmly
"It's a super deep cut. Gone clean through bone... but 'old up... means I can get a clamp in... good job she's sparko... Got the bleed!" "Go on my son! Played a blinder there!"
The Medic reports to Klaus
"Sarge, I've played me luck but we wants an Aslan qualified surgeon sharpish or she needs to "go to Iceland" right now". The Medic calls the unit ambulance (and its EmerLowBerths) to back up to the lift area. The peanut gallery continues to contribute
"Corp, why's she got 'arf a sword?"
The Command channel is broken into by Dubs who states
"Officers and Officer of the day. We have two inbound tracks origin UpSpire who are ignoring our air tarffic hails and heading on direct approach for landing here. They both have current valid IFF with today's cypher. One of them is actually avoiding other air traffic while the other has recorded two... Fekmyoldboots!!! ...make that three "Air Misses" on route. This is an unconfirmed sighting on a Thunderbolt class Teahleikhoi Regiment APC with two ruddy massive Aslan holoflags on it... the other one's a civspec limo... Ah, now this one has a holoflag and we're picking up short range TAR consistent with an onboard ImpSpec point defence system and a proximity APers* system fer fekksakes! In both cases the method and conduct of approach is consistent with our allies!"
(OOC: Nine Eight Lives Remaining...
* APers = AntiPersonnel vehicle munitions (hull mounted claymores) - kinda deters folk from bending yer wipers and rubbing their bottoms on yer windows. Wait - that's safari parks!

Good job lads, lets get her into the ambulance and safely into medical care. I have a feeling her people will be here very soon.

Responding to Sugar’s urgent call Jess arrives to see “what the frell’s going on here then”.
Looking over the casualty she observes: That wasn’t done by the Bratva, or the VDV, wrong weapons. Got another threat somewhere, reckon. Best we lock down again and do a sweep, before Big Tom gets here.

The favourite location has to be the Bartizan Spire itself. You have officers' living quarters there and, since you're currently "stood to" in the fortress below, the Spire may have received less thorough a search. Jakob and Liv have already searched the fortress accommodation and reported it clear.

Frank
To those here and on the command channel.
"It never rains but it pours. OK, let's get Sazanami on ice, I'm sure the Twilight will want to take her to a suitable Aslan facility. Dubs, lets get a suitable safety buffer set up around our new arrivals, an ETA would be useful. Sargent-Major, I'd like you to take lead on finding out what happened to Sazanami, you have a good grasp of all the moving parts. If you need extra hands then Lieutenant Arnholdt and his team can assist. I'll make sure our Aslan guests get a suitable reception. And has anyone seen Polly?"
He tries calling Polly.

Frank gets no response on Polly's comm.
Last known/best guess is she was "freshening up"/changeing her outfit.
Dubs confirms localised jamming midway up the Bartizan Spire (coincident with the Officers Quarters).

Frank swears like a trooper, he looks at those in the room:
"All of you, with me, now. Have medics standing by."
He takes the quickest route to the officers quarters, but does slow up and shows caution when he arrives on the floor.

This ability to get people into our home with no challenge is disturbing. says Freya as she traipses up the tower with Frank.
And this running from incident to incident like children kicking a ball in the yard is going to cost us at some point.

Sargent-Major, I'd like you to take lead on finding out what happened to Sazanami, you have a good grasp of all the moving parts.
Sir.
On the general SEMC channel:
All combat-ready personnel assemble for a sweep of Mid-Spire. Enemy in Officer Country. Possible casualties and-or hostages. Frelled up Polly's Molly, so load for bear and stay alert.
"All of you, with me, now. Have medics standing by."
He takes the quickest route to the officers quarters, but does slow up and shows caution when he arrives on the floor.
Frell.
Jess jogs along with Frank.
Sunray's moving. Everyone, go now. Join us as you can.
On HQ channel:
Give me positions on our people, and map the jamming, find the centre.
Conversationally:
Hey, Freya, Hun? Your team got any little toys that can go ahead?

Frank, Jess, Klaus, Freya (and All on Comms)
Frank leads an ad hoc unit/posse (of NCOs and the cavalry troop) across several hundred meters of flight apron mostly packed in/hanging off the ambulance. It was the nearest grav vehicle and the medic appears to have stabilised Sazanami in a dismounted “coldsled”.
Having put in some serious cardio on the stairs the squad arrives in “Officer Country”. The scout/sniper unit atop the tower add Corporal Baker and Sniper Easy to the mix who report that little seems amiss save that they can't directly observe the windows (because the building was designed that way). The pair are fully armed and armoured and so at least increase the number of fully equipped members of the group.
Making their way up the stairs the group make a discovery. At the turn of the stair a fluffy towel (that Frank recognises) lies at the end of a set of wet human footprints. On the next flight up the body of a male wearing a mesh-weaved stealth(?) suit lies dead in bloody ruin head-first down the stair. After some very brief analysis it would appear that the deceased's assailant dropped on him from the stair well above and then proceeded to carve away most of his gun hand, several fingers from his offhand and then inflicted massive exsanguinary trauma to his neck/lower face. An integrally silenced automatic lies next to the body. An explosive round has detonated in the wall of the stairwell.
An unidentified trooper peering around the assembled "command group" ahead opines "Lawks, looks like the work of... the Fing wot 'unts!!!" Approaching the body causes radio comms to begin to fill with white noise.
The group is now one floor below/on the stair approaching the Officer accommodation.
