Hey guys, sorry I've been slow to respond lately. My days are spent taking care of my 4-year-old and doing work when it pops up. Things are slowing down a bit work-wise (not sure if I'd call that "good" but it makes some of this "easier"), so I'll have a bit more time to post. Just wanted to apologize for my recent spate of being incommunicado.

Kipper: I think for Clark, all is fine except for both a Blaster Rifle AND the Grapnel thrower.....one or the other would work on a sling (Unless you say otherwise, the Grapnel thrower was listed first, so I'll go with that). My 'picture in my mind' is that Clark is holding the Glowrod and Heavy Blaster Pistol (plus the latter has a holster attached to the Equipment Tool kit belt)....the 10 meter coil of synth rope w/grappling hook is IN the Grapnel Thrower, which is slung over the shoulder; the Chronometer is wrapped around the sleeve of the Utility Space Suit and the Comlink and Macrobinoculrs and Vibroblade are in sheaths/pouches/whatever attached to the Belt.

Awwwwwww, but think how COOL it would be to have a recurring Sith KS DROID VILLIAN WITH A PAIR OF LIGHTSABERS!

(I am of course kidding.......mostly......)

Yeah, we can't just give up our power sources and leave. For one thing, we can't collect the McGuffin. So if the droids are not amenable to negotiation we will have to fight it out. I don't think we have any EMP grenades or anything like that, so it'll have to be the old fashioned way.

It's not NECESSARILY that they're not open to negotiation....just perhaps, who's DOING the negotiation (i.e. their skill at it)....

But hey, Blaster/Saber diplomacy is ALWAYS an option as well!

Vale is a good up and coming Jedi....but perhaps not the....let's go with "smoothest" fast-talker......
something about that 'Jedi Honesty', perhaps?

Clark's a pretty good talker (whether to con or to persuade), but I don't really have any ideas for what he could say which might turn the tide. Anyone have a good idea?

Apologies everyone for the delay, I was back to work this week....and while I had hopes of putting up an update when I got back at night after work....I'd come home, have enough energy to talk to my daughter for a bit, eat some dinner, take a breath for half and hour, go to bed and repeat.....so, sorry!
