Gwillt, having surveyed the situation, decides to carry out his plan. Given the hurry the descending creatures are in, Gwillt makes haste in placing his rock and pushing it over the edge.
The rock tumbles over the side and makes its descent much more quickly than those climbing the rope. The rock lands squarely atop the head of the highest climber; the impact causing it to ricochet slightly off its original downward path and missing the first climber. The top climber, however, is killed instantly and falls, crashing into the first climber. The first climber, already nearing the canyon floor, crumbles face down and does not appear to be moving. The rock crashes loudly, catching everyone else in the immediate vicinity off-guard.
All eyes, at least momentarily, are on the crash site at the bottom of the cliff.

OOC: Thanks! Never did like stinking goblins, anyhow...
Gwillt quickly pulls back from the ledge to avoid being seen, after noting the results of his action.
Once he is clear and obviously safe from being seen from below, he'll ready his bow. Then he'll slowly inch his way to the ledge from a standing position, arrow nocked. If he notes that any of the three non-goblins sees him, he'll quickly shake his head from side to side and hold his first finger up to his lips in the universal "shushing" motion.
He will, just for the time being, while those below might think about looking up, continue to remain hidden from view of any of the goblins at the base of the cliff.
But once he's waited about 30 tics
(can't see that he would know what a second was..), he'll creep forward enough to get a view of the four creatures with the dire wolf.

Realizing the ruckus his plan caused, Gwillt quickly pulls back from the ledge hoping his presence hadn't been detected. After a few moments he gradually inches his way back towards the ledge, bow in hand, and notices that the situation hasn't changed much. The triad of humans are cautiously trying to take action against the goblins attempting to free the wolf; while the wolf is doing its best to keep the humans at bay. At least for now, he believe he is still unnoticed.

At least three goblins left - maybe another, if the lower one survived the fall from the rope - and a huge wolf (maybe a dire wolf?) remaining. Gwillt takes a second to cast an appraising look at the three fighting them.
"Better not chance it..." he thinks to himself, finally.
He stands and tries to get a view of the two goblins that fell from the rope. If either of them is moving, that will be his target (he would prefer to finish what he started, in that respect); otherwise, he will fire an arrow at the wolf. (That is assuming the three remaining goblins are currently engaged in melee with the... humans? (Can he tell if the three fighting the goblins are all human?). He will never fire a ranged weapon into a melee, if there is a chance of hitting friendly or neutral targets.
Sheaf Arrow To Hit [1d20+4] = 20+4 = 24 and Damage [1d8] = 2
ooc: NICE hit! But pretty crappy damage...

Gwillt decides to act and brings himself to the edge of the cliff. Peering down to where his earlier targets have fallen, he notices the lower climbing goblin attempting to climb out from under his brained companion that had fallen on top of him.
With arrow nocked, Gwillt draws a bead and looks to finish off his original opponent... and a perfectly placed arrow pins the struggling goblin to the ground, dead (+15xp)

Gwillt let's a rare smile cross his lips. Who wouldn't smile at such a perfectly placed shot?
He doesn't bother hiding this time; instead, he draws another arrow and sets it to the string. Are their any targets not currently engaged in melee?

None that you see at the moment.

Then he waits to see if a target presents itself...
He occasionally checks behind him to make sure no other goblins are coming his way.

The cliff Gwillt is perched on, for the time being, feels safe. Down below, the goblins appear to be relentless. The most notable event that has recently taken place is the release of the wolf; the goblin working its release was successful in its attempt to free the beast (mere moments before being struck down by one of the humans).

Here ya go.
Requested Roll [1d10] = 8
If these are ever initiative rolls, let me know, as I have macros for the various weapons...

Gwillt hisses audibly, as it appears nobody below had noticed his presence and stood back from the wolf to leave him a clear shot.
"Bloody 'ell... How could they not even look up when the arrow flew into that goblin's back, pinning it to the ground?" he mumbles to himself.
But the hunter is patient. He waits for an opportunity to releae another arrow into goblin flesh. Maybe one of them will attempt to flee...
While he waits, a thought occurs to him. He scans the other cliff side for a similar rope to see if he should be watching that ledge, as well. He also checks the area where the third human came from to see if any more are forthcoming or if he was followed by anything. And, ever careful, he checks the wood line on his own clearing, as well.

Gwillt fights his frustration at the lack of recognition and opportunity and remains patient. His checks for another rope are unsuccessful, but there is a large portion of the cliff that is completely blocked off by the waterfall. He moves his gaze from the cliff to the forest line where no further activity is spotted.
However, when returning his gaze to the action by the waterfall some movement in the middle of the canyon catches his attention. It appears as if there are two figures attempting to conceal themselves approximately fifty pace away from where the action is taking place; one figure, a small humanoid was already in that position and the movement spotted was a larger human-sized figure advancing. Then something odd happens. When this taller figure meets up with the small one, the color of its cape changes color to better blend in with its new surroundings.

"Ahhh... The plot thickens," he thinks to himself. "Now who might these two be, I wonder?"
He does nothing that might be perceived as a threat to the newcomers, but if he sees them looking up at him, he lets them know he is aware of them with a wave of his hand.
He otherwise continues t monitor the activity below...

The pair does not appear to notice him; instead, they seem to be intent on joining the conflict. The wolf and two of the goblins are slain.
The pair has just about reached the battle. The final two goblins dropped.

Four fallen goblins, the body of a slain wolf, the triad of humans, each wounded to varying degrees, and this new duo are currently all that remain from the battle you were observing.

Gwillt starts thinking about making a descent down the rope, but... before he does that, he wants to check a little way down the path from which the two goblins came and see if they were on their way back from a place they frequent (at the bottom of the cliff) or just leaving a place they frequent. He'd like to make sure there aren't more coming this way.
So he locates the trail they came from and heads down it a ways, focusing on the trail ahead of him and to his sides for any signs of activity or motion... He'll travel no more than 100 yards before reassessing his situation (i.e. stopping) if he finds nothing.

Gwillt is able to find the path taken by the two arguing goblins easily enough. The two appear to have been trailblazing and not following a formal path, but their progress is easy for Gwillt's trained eye to follow. He does, for about 100 yards, and no end appears in sight. Gwillt does sense that he hasn't been travelling in a straight line exactly, but the trail bends slightly from his starting position forming almost a crescent shape.

Towards or away from the river/water source? If towards (meaning, the path is wandering back towards where the river would be), then he will continue following the path. Maybe it will end at a cave system or a camp of some sort that might be of interest.
If away, then he will head back to the rope and check over the ledge once again to make sure there isn't an active fight going on before he climbs down.

Initially, Gwillt is lead away from his current position, leaving the waterfall and the rope behind, but the suspicion is that the path these two goblins took might be curving back around again, possibly leading somewhere behind or beyond the waterfall. Based on your observations, however, you suspect that a considerable journey is ahead of you if elect to continue down this path.
