Sorry for the slow start. I'll roll up my character in a day or so when gardening/outdoor chores slow down a bit.

I will be gone on vacation until the 12th. My wife said something crazy about me not taking my computer. As we are waiting on several and Waps hasn't arrived yet. We will start on the 12th. I will check in once or twice, via ipad evidently, a day to answer questions until then. Happy character creating!

FYI, I'll be out of town starting June 12 (including a trip to Disneyland!), so I may be late starting.

Okay I am back and way behind in everything. I will try to look through characters tonight and get a map of the fight up along with a starting post by tomorrow night. As it looks like a few are out for another week or so I will give everyone a while to take in everything and discuss tactics OOC. I will also try to get a list of some of the advanced and optional rules I am using up.

I did have a blast. I have never taken a full two week vacation in my life and I went through the place I spent the first 10 years of my life, which I haven't seen in 40 years.

So here is my run down on characters - all pretty well done.

Hanging Judge - need equipment. Remember he can have been a judge in the past and people may call him Judge but he will have to get the job IC as we are going to start off as transients.

Rex - Looks good. Please note SAR.

OGRE MAGE - Technically the sawed-off shotgun is the scattergun, but as long as your mechanics are in order it is all good. He must not have sawed it off plum down. Looks good.

Jason - Good. I like the buffalo hunter. He could be something as he develops. High starting gun accuracy and strength are always good others can improve.

Zhym - Looks good - The first time someone asks if he is from Kansas he should say “No! Why?”

Scott308 - He is gonna be interesting. I like the spectacles, nice touch. Good.

All - Make sure you have the Luck stat on your sheets.

So wapsii is still not here. I will contact him and find out what is up.

I still need to make a map, work has been hectic and kids are at rodeo camp so I am not home much in the evenings. Hopefully I will get it done tomorrow.

I thought the spectacles, though he doesn't need them (Or does he? May explain his lack of accuracy), helps build his image- that of a dapper gent, maybe causing people to underestimate him. I was going to give him a cane as well, until I saw that Sawbones had one and felt two people with walking sticks in the same party might be a bit much, so I removed it.
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

I adjusted the SG to "Partially Sawed-Off" :D

Is not having a horse to start out with going to be a problem? If so, I will have to rethink my possessions a bit so I can fit one in.

I owe you guys a character still. Gardening and music got the better of me, i guess. I'll get on it this evening.

As an aside, I will be on vacation starting 6/22-7/6. I should be able to make sporadic posts while gone though.

Eight of you in theory, plus three of three of the Kane brothers, the youngest Kane, Ezekiel, was killed at the ambush. Wapsii is the original player coming over from MW he is still having some issues getting on, and I will give Rusty a couple days. Once the shooting starts players will be set.

Yes you have all of your gear and from this point can move to where you want on the map, using the movement rules. The three Kanes are heading to the Corrals as are a large group of Russells. That is where the traditional "blazing pistols at close range" fight will be. Double windows mean second story windows. One thing to remember is that once the shooting starts it will be over pretty quick. You probably wont be able to move large distances.

I will be using an optional morale rule for all NPCs.

Once shooting starts everyone fighting will need to roll 3 d100s for each shot they take, depending on weapon up to three a turn.

I updated the Note on the post. Will also add a order of events to the rules tonight or tomorrow so you can see how things work.
