Checking Interest: Crypts & Things for B4: The Lost City
Re: Checking Interest: Crypts & Things for B4: The Lost City
As far as where in Mystara my character is from, I doubt this sad spittle-rag of a sorcerer is much of a traveller, so he should be from where ever the campaign starts out.
Re: Checking Interest: Crypts & Things for B4: The Lost City
Hey, how do I add an image to my character sheet?
Re: Checking Interest: Crypts & Things for B4: The Lost City

I only spent 140 gp, just in case that "Roll 3d6x100 for starting gold" was a typo

Thanks GreyWolf!
Re: Checking Interest: Crypts & Things for B4: The Lost City
I'm just starting the process here... I haven't done any of the money or encumbrance math, but I'm sure I'm not going to be bumping up against any hard limits.
Should we buy stuff imagining we're going to be going on an overland expedition, or short excursions from a town?

Re: Checking Interest: Crypts & Things for B4: The Lost City
Your group was hired as caravan guards in the coastal city of Jaboor in the Emirates of Ylaruam. You may or may not have know one another at the start of the job but by the time of the adventure you know one another as well as you would know a co-worker. Please equip yourselves appropriately. Still have not heard anything from ToniXX. I have talked to RRedmond and he thought ToniXX would be setting it up last night but I haven't heard anything. So please do not misinterpret my silence as loosing interest. I am very excited over this campaign. I've been a little busy with RL the last couple days. Once I hear from ToniXX we will get this game rolling.

Sounds good. It took a few days for me too when I was waiting to have a spot opened up for A Company of Corpses...

What a lovely set of stats: Stats: STR:11, INT:9, WIS:10, DEX:10, CON:4, CHR:11 3d6 in order. The dice monkey hates me.

Re: Checking Interest: Crypts & Things for B4: The Lost City
I'm not a stickler for the "in order" thing. I have no problem with you moving your stats around. I will admit I have always been concerned about the 3d6 method to be honest. I have done 4d6 drop lowest die roll and roll six times or 3d6 seven times and drop the lowest total but never straight 3d6. I did it for two games I am playing in and have come to realize I like those characters better than any others I have created. They are not average or better in all stats, they have some strengths and some weaknesses. And IMHO easier to role play.

Urrok the Elementalist. We'll see how long he lives with that 4 CON, at least he gets to wear chainmail.

Re: Checking Interest: Crypts & Things for B4: The Lost City
All I ended up getting is a preview copy can't go buying any copies of the rules right now so what do I roll for starting coin and HP as a Fighter also what are the race options?

HP [1d6+2] = 5+2 = 7Pulpatoon wrote:In true Sword & Sorcery style, everyone's human.

So on the fighter styles i see (pick two) but I couldn't be a swashbuckler and a shield master since one doesn't use what the other does correct?

You can both swash your buckles and master your shields, but you will never get the benefit of both at the same time, since you need to have a shield for one and you can't have a shield for the other.

Alright so I can go that route if i wanted however I am thinking the two I'll take are Swashbuckler and Weapon Master.Pulpatoon wrote:Re: Hp. We get max hp at first level! So, you start with 8.GreyWolfVT wrote: HP [1d6+2] = 5+2 = 7
