When you post, please put your characters name/career at the top.
Put any actually out loud conversation in a different color. Look at OGRE MAGE's post for an example.
Thanks.

Fred : bartender

Fred walks over to window and looks outside.
Gee, I hope there are none of those dead guys around here.
Then he scratches himself.

Great example!!!

I like to use the "dialog" button for dialog and the "OOC" shows up in red which is also a helpful feature.

It makes it easier to follow. Yes, the OOC questions are good at the bottom, in red , so I don't miss it. I try to read everything carefully, but sometimes miss things.

I guess some members cant get the colors option when they post. If you can use the "dialog" button, try that. Its in the upper left corner above the "bold B". Its no big deal, it just makes things easier to follow. We can work through it.
Thanks!

READ THIS PART CAREFULLY.

""Its no big deal, it just makes things easier to follow. We can work through it.""

Ive been told its hard for some players to post this way for whatever reason. Now Im accused of being unfair somehow and 3 players want to drop out of the game. Even though ive stated the above publicly and through PM.
You can choose to do whatever you like. But don't make up BS and pin it on me. I was not being nasty or a jerk in the slightest and was very willing to accept any way you could post.

Read this one more time:
Its no big deal, it just makes things easier to follow. We can work through it.

So the game will be on hold until (and if) we can get new players.

Sieg, DocBennie and Chancetarget (all buds) have decided to drop out. I have no hard feelings, but Im not going to be accused of some kind of unfair treatment, when it is patently false. Im legally blind without correction.

My apologies to the other players. I will try to recruit more players and see what happens. The game may continue, start over again, or maybe not all. Im sorry for this. I will keep you posted.
Thanks.

Just because of the color thing?

I don't get it.

Im going to press on a bit and see how it goes. We went from 6 players to 3, so it makes it hard. I got a PM that was a bit unfriendly from one of them. Totally unwarranted. But it is what it is. I'll keep the game going for a bit.

===============

sorry, man...

but, sir sieg is pulling out, for reasons between you and him...

Chancetarget and I grew up with him, and we have "got his back", as you would say...

so, good luck with everything, but you will be gaming without the 3 of us...

for future advice, not that you probably care to hear it...
I would NOT make the game inaccessable for someone who is legally blind, but is also a well-known gamer with a popular blog, and is recognized by pretty much ALL of the old school famous game designers...

anyway, just an FYI...

good luck...

Ben "john"...

===============

Nice..... particularly funny because I am legally blind without correction myself and stated more than once it was no big deal and we'd work through it.

That is pretty unfortunate to say the least.

I don't know any of those guys but they seemed totally into it. That sucks!

I can't help but feel somewhat responsible for pushing the idea.

Yeah that does suck, but I didn't know any of them either so I certainly didn't know one was a well-known gamer with a popular blog. But honestly, that and a buck gets you a cup of coffee at 7-11.

I'm all for pushing on and seeing if we can "pick up some more survivors" along the way.

I have nothing against any of them. I just don't understand it. Im not angry, but Im not going to let someone accuse me of something I didn't do. Its over with.

Hello!
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.
