Robert says, "Are we going up or going through the door? I can't say I'm excited about following that Wraith. The balance of evil is too great and must be put in check my friends."

Robert readies his scimitar and shield but he runs through his spell list mentally in case he might need switch things up.

"did we check beyond these doors before? Well I am all for exploring downwards, cellars and crypts and perhaps a doorway to hell ha, ha",Agrippo will lead on downwards expecting some visit from chasing wraiths or perhaps another zombie welcome party.

Reversing course, Agrippo leads the way back down the tower. As you descend you pass by the guardian portrait, the alcoves where you encountered the wraiths, and the burnt-out accountant's office. At the next landing, you surmise from the smell of barbecued pipe organ that you must have reached the ground floor. Web-filled stairs continue down into the cellars. "The hour is late and we need rest for body and mind, healing and spells," comments Vorkath. "The wraiths have fled for now. I say we return to the library, secure it, and rest. The wraiths didn't bother Gertruda; perhaps that area is avoided by undead."

Robert starts to consider his spell memorization options. I think I have a plan.

You decide to go back to the study and get some rest. Agrippo steps forward to lead the way back up the stairs. Suddenly his sword starts shining brightly again!

Illuq Readies his hammers, ready to smite any evil that lurks their way. A prayer on his lips for strength during battle.

Fendt sighs takes out his mace "We really are doomed to never rest in this place."

"There's a presence of evil ahead of us, let's get into a fighting formation on the stairs and smite our way through!".Agrippo will make room for another to stand by his side, I think that would be all the room available on a tight staircase and slow move forward, sword and shield ready, especially for wraiths to suddenly materialise through the closed doors.

Robert says, "I'm ready."


Scimitar and shield at the ready. His spell limited inside and less effective especially being drained.

omg it worked.

Vorkath steps aside, sensing the new comrade's enthusiasm and magical mace.

Tumbler shakes his head from side to side at the prospect of having his souls sucked away.
"If we get outta here I am retiring from adventuring and setting up a shop" he thinks to himself.
