Thanks for that.

And it actually takes two days: a full day of rest before, then the ritual, then 8 hours rest after. Maybe that could fit in a day depending on your definition of the first "day," but I'd say not.

At any rate: making holy water probably isn't going to happen.

No no, it's simple: Vorkath pisses holy urine. So says the One True God.

Line up your vials.

Damn that is a lot more complicated then I was hoping for. Thanks for doing the research though!

I wish Vorkath really did piss holy water, a few buckets full would be great vs undead!

By the book, concentration is broken if the caster so much as moves. Yikes.

I'd be willing to say that the amount of concentration required depends on the complexity of the illusion. If the illusionary ghost just sits there without reacting to anything, you could maintain the illusion and still move, for example. But casting a spell also requires concentration, and you can't concentrate on two things at once (concentration literally meaning "the act of giving your attention to a single object or activity").

Audible glamour has a note about working well in conjunction with phantasmal force, but the only way I see that working is if the audible glamour—which does not require concentration to maintain—is cast first.

Sure. Nothing's set until you all say you turn in for the night anyway.

If the majority would like Vorkath out there, that's fine with me. I figured someone should be in the room should Strahd get in there magically or otherwise. If it gets rough out there just holler. I'll be in library making my Cha. 17 moves on Ireena...

I can see the following scenario:

Strahd and a army of undead gather outside the house. The entire party, minus those in the library, fight a valiant battle! For hours we keep the undead at bay until eventually the walls are breached an vicious fighting erupts inside the house. Some of us die leaving a few to battle Strahd alone. In the end we manage to drive him away forever but at a horrible cost. As the last of the party lay dying on the ground the door to the library opens and out emerges Vorkath with Ireena in his arms. We have been banging all night long Ireena says with a smile as she gazes lovingly into Vorkath's eyes.

Really, I can be outside the room. You guys just knock or have the cat scratch the door.

Dudes. The youngest of you is 30. You've been making fun of Ismark for being so young. Ireena's about the same age.

I'm gonna change Vorkath's alignment to Lawful Creepy if this keeps up. ;)

Ha ha. Humor at the cost of the paladin, a class tradition.

It's worth noting that in character Vorkath made no improper actions or thoughts, on the contrary he is careful to maintain virtuous propriety.
Responding to the innuendos and comments of my dirty-minded, or creepy?, fellow players is another matter.

If our goal is to protect Ireena, not the mansion, I'm not certain I understand why the whole party isn't in the library.

All those prayers - I grab em off the Web and alter a bit. Google "prayer for _________" and its amazing what comes up ;) That last was a catholic exorcism prayer for the most part, 3 or 4 verses of the 50 or so.

FYI, I'm going to be traveling tomorrow through late Saturday night. I'll try to post something tomorrow morning, since there's not a lot going on at the moment and I'd like to get something going on ASAP, but if I don't get anything posted tomorrow AM there probably won't be any updates until Sunday.
