Lorde, clearly annoyed at something will stay outside, a good distance from barrow 3.

The Thief will lye on the grass and mutter something about keeping guard from outhere, while making wide sweeping hand gestures.

Rusky will sit beside him and keepwatch.
He will wait for the others to exit the barrow or until circumstances change.

Agathon and Hurtag will follow Rukellian into barrow 8.

OOC: Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't Gorek be the only one who knew what the inscription on the ring said?

After pocketing the ring, Gorek takes a look around the room, searching for any irregularities in the stonework that would indicate a secret door or any other hidden apparatus in the room.

If nothing is found, Gorek will leave the room along with the others as they go to another barrow entrance.

As he departs the room, Gorek secures his axe and pulls out his bow again, knocking an arrow so he is ready for any unexpected guests.

So the party is heading to no 8? Just checking before I proceed.

OOC: Looks like that is the case. No one has spoken against the idea, directly.

I have no objections against going to barrow eight.

You start to head down, it looks like it was plundered some time ago. then you stop. There is peat covered water on the floor (you cannot tell how high by just looking at it.) y ou see water stained murals on the walls.

OOC: May I ask how far in we notice the peat covered water on the floor and the water stained murals on the wall? Basically, I'm asking if its near the entrance of the 8th barrow, or if its farther in.
Distorted Humor wrote:You start to head down, it looks like it was plundered some time ago.
OOC: When you say 'head down' are you implying that their is slight slope occuring on the walkway, or are we just progressing into the barrow, on level flooring? Sorry if this sounds a bit nitpicky, but I like to get my facts straight when making potential maps or illustrations.

On a side note... what's the marching order going in? I assume Rukellian would be up front somewhere, but someone may have outpaced me hehe.

It slopes down slightly, and you come across the water ahead of you, and your light shows a room ahead, you would guess it is 30x30 like the last one. The marching order was posted a while back.

Behrun, if up front, will cautiously enter the 30 X 30 room with both sword and shield equipped and ready for any ambushes that may occur.

Even though you are looking out, you are utterly surprised as two large frogs jump out and attack you from the water. Luckily, they are utterly incompitatnt in their attacks and do not even threaten to hit you, wasting the surprise round.

(Ok, folks, it is combat, everyone tell me what you do, and the first person roll for Initiative. )

Two Giant Frogs are attacking.

Good luck Behrun!

OOC: By the way... is Mogullen's lantern still good for this battle? Did it run out of juice?

initiative [1d6] = 3

Agathon casts Sleep on the frogs.

OOC: Hurtag also holds Agathon's lantern.

Rukellian enters the barrow and hugs the wall near the entrance, stepping out of the way for others to get it in. He will have his shield and net ready to go, on standby. Rukellian shouts out to the fighters up front, "Be careful! We don't know how deep that water is..."

OOC: Will update map when everyone declares an action.
