Back together on the cliff
Re: Back together on the cliff
Cilian fumbles through his pack, looking for the Potion of Healing Hanna left with them.
Once he finds it, he administers it to Viktor.
(Can't easily check at the moment... Does he need the whole thing? Or can you even dose a potion of extra healing?)

Viktor struggles to take a deep breath as his broken rib sends shock waves of excruciating pain radiating throughout his chest. He thinks he might still pass out...
"What the hell just happened?" he queries suddenly, as if trying to figure out how the angry snake came to suddenly appear about him and what the heck that explosion was that he thought he just heard!

Viktor thankfully accepts the single dose of the wonderful magical curative, trying not to choke and spit any out. The sharp, hot pain in his rib suddenly subsides and he can breath again! He looks up to Cilian with a grateful look pasted clear across his still rosy visage. "Thanks, Cil," are the first words he can muster as he looks about to see what else happened, all the time subconsciously feeling his rib with his hand.Alethan wrote:Healing dose to Viktor [1d8+1] = 6+1 = 7

Re: Back together on the cliff
What sort of snakes were these? It feels like the death mongers know we are here and sent the beasts to kill us in our sleep.
Re: Back together on the cliff
The rain continues to fall soaking the party with their makeshift lean to now destroyed. The steady hiss of the fire mixes with the sound of the rain drops. The fire while still buirning grows dimmer as the cool rain drops hit the coals with several hours reaminaing till daylight.
The potion does it's job nitting viks worst injuries and mending his ribs. the party stands scared and confused in the middle of the forest, in the rain.
Go ahead and dialoge, my daughter has a tournament today so i won't be back on until tonight.

Re: Back together on the cliff
As the party stands around trying to make a decsion on their next move their attention is drawn to a noise in the darkness. What sound like hundreds of insects of small feet moving over fallen leaves and fallen twigs.
Re: Back together on the cliff
"Oh crap, now what?" mutters Vik aloud as he hears the strange sound. He tries to determine from what direction the noise is coming from while considering if trying to stay here is a good idea or not.
"Let's get the hell out of here fellas," he whispers loudly. "This campsite is cursed!"
OOC: Wolf, can we determine what direction the sound is coming from?

Re: Back together on the cliff
Cilian nods in agreement as he packs up the potion. If everyone else agrees, as well, he will pack up his sleep gear and make ready to move.

Re: Back together on the cliff
The noise is from in front of you in the darkness, and it seems to be moving away.
Re: Back together on the cliff
Scythius crouches low, long spear in hand and at the ready. He is prepared to evacuate with the rest of the group if they begin to leave, but will otherwise hold his ground, prepared to defend himself against whatever may be approaching.

Aye, enough excitement for one day, Tbd agrees as he prepares to move out.
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Re: Back together on the cliff
Where will be go? in gthe dark in the middle of the forest we cna be easily lost. But if we don't get out of this rain it will be the death of us.
We have to either get moving and find cover, or try to set this lean to back up
Johansen says as he throws wood on the fire trying to keep it form dying and pulling a torch from his pack he lights it.
It is cold and you are all starting to shiver

Re: Back together on the cliff
decisions?
You are standing in the rain in a dense forest slowly starting to get colder and colder, in the midle of the night with no stars or moon available.

Re: Back together on the cliff
Let's move into the wood and seek cover. says Sergius
Re: Back together on the cliff
Cilian nods and gathers his gear. He doesn't feel much like wandering around in the dark.
"Johansen, you are our paid guide. I trust you'll know the best place where we can weather this until morning?"

Re: Back together on the cliff
Viktor calms himself down and relents to the idiocy of running through the woods in the dark when Johansen offers his perspective. He shakes the rain from his hair and face and amends his previous declaration.
"Aye, let us get out of this damnable rain at the least. Instead of staying here, perhaps we could move somewhere under thicker tree cover and find a spot that is not so wet?" he ponders as he follows their guide's leader, removing a torch from his pack and lighting it before the fire dies.
OOC: marking off one torch from inventory!

Re: Back together on the cliff
Sure, in the day, when there is light and I can see terrain markers.
Our best hope is to either head north and hope to find a cluster of conifers or head back to the cliffs where we would be bound to find a cave.
