Idril inspects the wounds and wipes at the man's forehead with a wet cloth. To Arngeir, she says, "You look tired. You have done enough for now. Did the khuzdal bring your breakfast? Then you should get some sleep. Sax can show you to a palette in one of the wagons."

Can a second Physician check do any good?

Once again Arngeir prays and focuses and the infection shrinks a little more and lessens in its sickly color.

Infection healed from H4 to H5, will be healed at H6. 24 hours after becoming infected he will gain a natural healing roll, %d vs his Endurance x5 plus the attending physicians SI (5 for Idril). Much better odds for him then if it was an H3 still. Arngeir has 2 FL, 40 minutes of rest or 20 minutes of sleep.

At this point you are just tending his wound, keeping him comfortable etc. This grants him your Physician SI (5) as a bonus on his natural healing roll in the morning. Infections get 1 roll per day, wounds get 1 roll per 5 days (for Humans and Dwarves, Elves are immune to infection and get 1 healing roll per 3 days). Arngeir can of course attempt Psi Healing before that if he wishes but as noted there is a 6% chance each time he upsets Eynwif (with a 50% chance she then requires retribution). A CF on Psi Healing is also bad as Arngeir will end up with an infected G4 injury to his thigh.

Algrim would know that a badly wounded Orc is unlikely to return to the tribe as they would be just as likely to serve him up for dinner as help him with his injuries.

Please give me an Awareness Skill check (%d vs EML 65).
You don't have tracking but you can substitute Awareness x 1/2 if you decide you want to try tracking it, you would get a bonus as there is a blood trail to follow.

The Ivinian will get some food, and then ask "Is beer for thirsty man?"

Algrim looks along the trail of the blood and notices something sticking out from under a bush, moving up and examining it, it appears to be an Orcish Mang.

Algrim is able to easily follow the blood trail (the second roll was CS for Awareness x 1/2 /tracking. Algrim can make an Awareness Skill improvement roll, %d+Awareness SB, you need a 66+ to go up 1).

When the beer is handed out, Arngeir takes one enthusiastically and drinks deeply. He frowns "You útlendingur need to learn beer like my people.", however he continues to drink it while he eats.

The teamsters get the Mules hitched to the carts and the panniers loaded on the other mules. The injured man is moved to one of the carts where a makeshift bed has been made. Then Sax orders a return to the ruins of the Abbey.

"It would be great if you two would come with us. Safety in numbers and all."
Sax says to Algrim and Arngeir.

Algrim after grabbing the orc weapon and moving back to the wagon and others the dwarf nods his head at the offer "I think we already decided ta go with ya folk if offered. So that'd be a yes, safety in numbers and all that."
