Re: Chapter 6: The Evil Queen & Her Fortress
Dropping some orcs
In silence the orc guards have no idea what is happening and before they can get their bearings to even turn around towards the opening one gets their arm hacked off by Egon, the second orc gets a javelin in the back from Grimnar. Kravoud rushes in and misses both orcs with his axe. Xlore comes in swings his sword and misses finishing off the 2nd orc guard. Then Trist takes out the first and second orc guard with an arrow each. Elanriel, Delsenora and Weston hold off on attacks as they wish to not hit their friends already up in melee range.
Combat is over before it even began. Looking around you see a way forward and a torch in a sconce on the wall which Grimnar remembers leads to the passage that eventually came to the mine shaft lift that he disabled. The passage ahead also is lit to the Notheast by another torch in a wall sconce that Grimnar will also recall lead to a larger cavern that he recalls seeing the heat signs of many foes and so avoided that space while here solo. Silence is still in effect but if you walk a little ways up the main passage you will be out of the silence radius.

Grimir
Recovers his Javelin and motions to the right and holds up both hands with fingers extended several times. Then makes a couple gestures that look rather odd.

Trist
Trist will attempt to recover her arrows. Please roll
Trist catches on to the silence and stays in formation bow at the ready.
Stay with me Jivet. If you feel the need to do something just be careful

Arrow Recovery [1d12]=7 You were able to recover 1 arrow (I had to round up since 25% of 2 arrows is half an arrow.

Further into the Mines/Caves
The group moves in and goes to the larger cavern room that was not explored the last time anyone was in here. There are a couple lit torches on this side of the entrance to the larger cavern room. Those with infravision can see that there are more creatures in this space on the far end by the size of them mostly orc guards with a few goblin slaves doing grunt work. There is a torch lit on the far end but not close enough to the figures you can see. The Orc guards and goblins are on the opposite end you are entering from and there appears to be another passage going off north. There also appear to be a few spots in this cave that open up and are almost like little side rooms with no passage off of this larger cave. There might also be another passage off of one of those spaces to the west or east.

Re: Chapter 6: The Evil Queen & Her Fortress
Kravoud tries to discern how many of the orcs and goblins there are and if there's any spot they can follow behind the cover of stones and large rocks along the wall in order to avoid being seen. He's aware that fighting might well be the only solution though.
He conveys the information to those companions unable to see other life forms in the dark.

Egon will try and use the cover (boulders etc) to get closer without being seen before the silence wears off.

Re: Chapter 6: The Evil Queen & Her Fortress
I imagine Jivet can be used to invisibly scout ahead if that helps fellas. Trist would have to ask for her to do that, but It's been done before so I imagine same protocol here. Also this is a map I found those are not boulders in my "interpretation" those are stone tables or surfaces the orcs and other creatures here use to sit, sleep, and eat off of or use for other things.

Trist
Trist says softly,"Jivet please scout ahead of us and share your sight. Don't go too far. 100 yards at a time at the most. Stay invisible and silent."
Jivet move ahead of the group giving Trist her sight as she goes.

Grimnar
Will ready a Javelin as the sneaky ones move to hide. Waiting until all are in place before launching.
[1d20+3]=7+3=10 Javelin
[1d6+5]=5+5=10 Javelin Damage

Delsenora will say back with the main group, but will offer the Silence Coin if the sneakers want to take it with them.
