Ok, so at least three interested in the boots.

Lets be fair, then, and roll for it.

D100, highest roll wins first pick. Second highest gets second pick, and so on.

Rolling time period ends 24 hours from the time stamp of this post. If you don't get your roll in before then... Leftovers, I guess.

Oops. Sorry, I totally meant for that to be 48 hours, not 24. I know a lot of people don't have the chance to check the forums on the weekend, so that wouldn't really be fair to call for a roll in that time period.

Apologies, Gentlemen. Please, roll if you want in.

asked a question regarding the elfin chain +2...thought all elfin chain was non-magical,? if no takers and it won't harm any thieving skills, McCloud will bid for it. The scroll is it only usefull for mages? That being the case I think there is only Skiiratch and myself.

Can we take his spell books too?

McCloud doesn't want the boots or weapons but will make a bid for the armour if possible and spell books. do I need a role if no one else interested? [1d100]

(how do I show what I rolled? Did a roll-on -the fly and rolled 96 but can't seem to post it?)

You post on-the-fly rolls just like any others - paste the code from the roll results into the thread. To find your roll, if you've already left the roll results screen, you can use the Search function on the dice roller.

Not sure how many people know this, but if you don't enter any criteria (just click on "Search"), it shows every roll that has been made, not just for your character or for your campaign. So anyone can see any of the rolls made on the US Dice Roller. For example, here is your roll.

[1d100] = 96

I set a time frame, not to exclude anyone from trying, but to try and maintain the pace of the game. It shouldn't take more than 48 hours to resolve something like this.

In the interest of being fair to everyone who rolled within the time frame, I think the time frame has to stick.

The roll results are as follows:
tkrexx = 43
Alethan = 30
Mondego = 18
Stirling = 96 (outside time frame)
aQuebman = 26 (outside time frame)

(Ultimately, I'm sure none of this will matter much, anyway...)

Items to choose from:
Elfin Chain +2 armor
Long Sword +1 weapon
boots of levitation
potion of healing, 1 dose
scroll of Conjure Elemental

Go ahead and make your pick, tkrexx!

Sounds like you need a good multivitamin, Aquebman.

Consider this one: http://neovitin.com/

I take it daily, have been for about two months now. I've lived the last three weeks in a house of pestilence as my wife and son are trading colds, and have been pretty much completely unaffected.

To compare, I was sick four times between November and the end of January. I've changed pretty much nothing else in my habits (still stay up way too late and get up way too early every day, no increase or decrease in exercise, etc.).

Just something to consider.

I'll consider it, I do take a multivitamin every day and I try to take some Vitamin C specifically this year has just been awful for illness with me though. Other than I now see kids everyday who feel like they have to hug me every 5 seconds nothing has changed in my life.

I'm blaming the children.

I took a normal multivitamin every day, as well! But I never felt like it was doing anything.

NeoVitin was developed by a (local) St. Louis doctor when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and couldn't find anything on the market that provided him with the vitamins and antioxidants he felt he needed with all of the chemo and radiation therapy he was going to undertake.

He beat pancreatic cancer, if that says anything about it.

Anyway, I'm not sure I would totally swear by it, but... so far it seems to be what is making a difference in my health.

I always blame the other kids in my kid's class when it comes to sickness.
(Feel free to borrow that one as much as you want.)

Make your roll, AQ, I have doubts about how my 6INT PC would actually figure out the usage of Boots of Levitation.

Not really sure what this means. Aq made his roll. It is noted above.

If you want to pick the boots, then do so. If you want to pass on your choice, then do so. If you want to pick something else, then do so.

Those are your three choices.

Ah, I see, so he has, my mistake. I'll pass, as Urdak has not seen the boots in action and will hav no idea what to do with them.

Ok. You could always use your pick to take something else, then, like the potion...

I'm half tempted to take the armour, but I think it would mess up my thieving skills...

I'm also tempted to go with the scroll,but...

I think I'll have to take the boots.

You're right, Sterling. The spell book should be on this list, as well.
