However for a proper burial and sending them over to the other side she prefer they be buried.

Urtesi
Being an elven priest, Urtesi does not know much about proper funeral rites for humans and keeps out of the conversation.
He walks closer to the rubble (25) where the snakes are. If he can get close, he uses his Soothing Word power on the pair of snakes. 4HD monsters calmed temporarily. If the snakes appear calmed, he attempts to pick the snakes up by the neck and carry them up the stairs (to level 1).

Weston
Not being able to do much about the bodies being buried under a rubble pile he says some appropriate words for Talrand (being a mage) and does the best for Arimtes, not knowing his particular religious persuasion.

Both snakes appear to become relaxed and not at all concerned with Urtesi or him moving them from their rock pile. Urtesi successfully moves the snakes to a different location room 23. remind me to award bonus xp for this. It's creative and I love it.alver wrote:Urtesi

Xlore- I am all for showing the proper respect for our fallen comrades, but do they carry any items that may be useful in our search in this cave?

Egon
Egon leads the way east (towards #25) and looks around the corner pointing south, assuming nothing there he will head south then east (based on what I can see of the map).

Re: Chapter 2: The adventure continues...
Egon moves up towards where Urtesi is and peeks around the corner of the hallway to the right and sees something odd another room partially and it the far corner it looks like a dead something on the floor. He can't quite tell from the distance but he thinks it looks like a dead ogre possibly but the real question is what killed it or is it just playing dead as a ploy or trap? Are ogre's even that cunning?

Weston moves up behind Xlore.

Urtesi makes note of the small opening above the rubble and starts moving towards the ogre room too.

Re: Chapter 2: The adventure continues...
The arrow hits the body and sinks in with a meaty twack and the ogre does not move. Egon moves in and vanishes into the shadows but isn't nearly as quiet as he had hoped. Almost everyone now joins Xlore and Egon in the hallway to the dead ogre room.Dram wrote:XLore- Put a arrow in it see if it is dead really. As he holds his sword ready to attack.
As Egon moves to the entrance the areas that were in shadow/darkness do reveal what killed the ogre. There are 4 dwarf looking creatures in the shadows hidden to the sides. The creatures are short like a dwarf with skin the color of an iced over lake (white, with bluish undertones), siddy, pale yellow or tan hair (always straight), and staring eyes that have no pupils. Their features remind dwarves of humans, and vice versa. The creatures have rough skin, spotted with short coarse tufts of hair. They wear a loose costume woven from the hair of orcs and dyed deep red or brown. Their armor is leather, studded in copper and brass. Each one carries a small, ornamental blade that looks sort of like a dagger.Rex wrote:Egon

Delsenora
The Darl Elf remains at the back of the party with her 2 ferrets and probably Elanriel.
If she can see the dwarf like creatures she will keep at the ready in case they attack her companions. She wonders what type of
creatures they are.

One of the humanoids acts like it understands Egon but then acts confused by Weston when he speaks like it's someone speaking in tongues or gibberish. Finally the toughest looking of the 4 speaks up in dwarvish "Tha thu nar tràillean a-nis a ’gèilleadh no air am marbhadh!" when done talking the other Derro as Delsenora called them point their weapons at you threateningly.
