If the party wants, you could rest a few days and take some xp for the ambush fight and possible train here. Nicholi is very skilled in several areas, (headmaster for years)

That would put Branc to 4th, and possibly some others too.

If even one member can go up a level, and thus make the group stronger, I say that we wait.

Gilnes on the other hand dreams of a place with fine food, fine lodgings , and fine women.

Benson could be easily talked into waiting if others are injured and need the rest - he come out untouched...

I did not level up, but I did use that one character point to upgrade my healing from 10 to 11.

50xp for successful use of non weapon proficiencies and skills is a good way to get peeps to use them. Just dont over-do it. ;)

Whenever your plan is ready, we will proceed. I dont want to have to bump it along as I sometimes do. Not for such a critical decision. I dont want to have to be the one who throws the party into the sewers.
Of course, I didnt seem to have much hesitaion throwing the initial party into the Howling Hills. 8-)

Another Dm here on the site uses this idea in his everyday dm post.
Status: Abrex (R9/MU11): 103/103, Ula: 20/20, Lucky: 4/4 ; Eduardo (F10): 84/84; Mason (Mk10): 35/56; Elsa (F10): 58/58;
Malibran (C10): 64/68; Zoster (F9/D12): 75/76, Ulla: 12/12; Xale (F8/C8): 54/54; Worren (C9/MU11): 53/53; Malvexa (F0): 6/6

Helpful? I may put in something like this,.... someday...

I might not fully understand our options... but other than climbing the city walls at a point of Benson`s choosing, I think we are bound for a trip through the sewers with spiders, rats, and cultists.

And I am not sure how many, if any, of the +5o xp for skills and non-weapon proficiencies Gilnes can claim... but my thief didn't go up a level either.

I am not even sure what we are trying to accomplish. People are going missing but we have no idea where or by whom.

perhaps we should interview people in shacktown around the area where the missing people lived. see if they saw anything.

I dont pretend to like this at all but what choice do we have?
Lots of other pbp players have left with much less notice.
A replacement would take much longer than that, so all I can really say, is.....
Have a good safe trip, brother and hope you ''fix'' the real life getting in the way of saving the world here.

Did I loose everyone?
Continue south?
or maybe into the sewers here?
or something else?

Just looking for a party consensus.

Anything to keep this story moving, really. The doctor won't have much else to say or do right now until things start to pick up pace. He eyes the sewer entrances warily, knowing what sort of denizens already inhabit the filth pit, but tis their only solid lead if they want to sneak into the city. Bracing himself mentally, he suggests to the group that if they are done questioning the townsfolk, that we should make haste towards that temple in question, the sewers being our only visible route at the moment.

If climbing into the sewers requires the thief to go first Gilnes goes now.
If we are processing with caution, Gilnes also does his best to detect traps.

But did I miss something? Where is Algrim the 1/2 orc fighter/cleric?
Is he not missing?

He too says that 2.0 Core Rules discs are responsible for his character sheet, and he is transferring his dwarf from an archived game.
I have only glanced at it and the first ting i noticed is his NWP dont have the 2.5e ratings next to them.
i thought the expansion disc solved that but i guess not (it has been a very long time since i had the discs)

And the two of us havent discussed background at all.

Couple of scenarios to choose from.
A city watchmen sympathetic to Benson
An adventurer, experienced delver who spots the group here at the sewermouth.
A local who has heard that Cobbler has found danger
An adventurer that has heard of a traveling mage causing quite a stir (Branc Temugen)
Suggest whatever you like and we will get you in immediately.
(unless u want to be a captive too ;) )
but he will need some form of background history too for the xp enough to push him up to level 2/1

Well thank you I can post here now :)
Yes core 2.0 + expansion software very cool stuff.

No that sheet is not converted to the core disk information it still is kind of in Shonuff's format which was different from how I need to change it here. I'm sorry for the slowness in getting this corrected. Typically the way I normally do this is make the character in the software then print to a pdf writer and update the pdf as the character gains exp. Hope you do not mind but the archived game had me start at level 2 for both my classes here is the sheet I have posted this under char sheets thread as well.
