Seeing Clauson drive the spiders off, Bremen hefts his crossbow and sends a bolt into the fleeing creature. Shall we look around as long as they are gone?
Does it look like the whole room is going to go up in flames?

Right now, the webs are burning off the ceiling and chandeliers - depends what flames drop onto the clothing racks below, I suppose.

Not wishing to lose his hammer by flinging it after the spiders, Piers instead turns to look for Rowine and Crowager. He looks back towards where they fled, hoping to see the light from Crowager's torch nearby. "Rowine! Crowager! The spiders are gone! You can come back now!" he calls out.

Bremen shoots one of the spiders with his crossbow, just sending it scurrying faster into the distance. (-2hp) Lug misses with his longbow and Baxtaw embarrassingly snaps his bowstring (crit. fumble); he takes a minute to get out his supplies and fix the weapon since the threat of the spiders is ended anyway.
Rowine and Crowgar return from the hallway as the spiders disappear. "they went down, deeper into the dwarven ruin," they dutifully report. Dorbeck and Stantz continue to struggle against their webbing cocoons.
The flames move swiftly across the ceiling and for a brief moment the room is lit like daylight. The room is indeed a huge commercial district, at least 100' by 100', the racks of clothing continuing and the mess around them consistent. The ceilings are vaulted to 25' in the center; You don't see any notable doorways along the walls beyond the clothing racks. As the webbing burns away, there are several thuds as small body-sized lumps fall and crash into the racks below.

Bremen frees Stantz and then reloads the crossbow. Once done, he carefully proceeds to one of the web-coated bodies and checks to see what it was/is. He will also check the nearby stalls to see if there is anything of value within.

Piers asks Rowine to help him free Dorbeck from the webbing and tells Crowager to keep watch with his torch.

(Subtract new torches)
With everyone working together, you're able to get Dorbeck and Stantz out of the webbing in about a half-hour. Lighting new torches for the group, a quick search reveals the older, more brittle cocoons that fell from the fire above, the webbing now burned away from the ceiling and showing the chandeliers and stonework once again. Within the small bundles are the dessicated husks of long-dead goblins, their grimy leathers, and
21 copper pieces.
You are interrupted by whispered goblin voices across the room, entering from the grand hallway. You can't see them through the clothing racks quite yet, but you know there's a few of them. One calls out in the Goblin tongue,
"Reveal yourselves and submit! We know you are here!"

Baxtaw - Quickly restrings his bow. Hearing the goblins he quickly notches another arrow. Not understanding what they are saying.He tries to use his elven vision for any movement.

Piers listens to the hoarse goblin voices for a moment, recalling his knowledge of their foul tongue.
"They are telling us to surrender" he whispers to the rest of the party.
Piers takes a moment to signal to Rowine and Crowager to take cover, and for Rowine to have her bow ready. For himself, he breathes a swift supplication to Baudh, asking for great and mighty Strength to be delivered by his hammer.

Lug considers calling out that there's nobody here, but instead he just readies his Boring Ordinary Bow and waits for the goblins to show themselves.

"Can we turn these tables over and make a barricade?" asks Piers. "We can't hide from them, they can see our torchlight".
He tries to buy some time by calling out in Goblin. "We're thinking about it! Give us some time!"

"We're thinking about it! Give us some time!" yells Piers, who also makes a salient observation about your visibility in the darkness. Bremen quickly aids, kicking over a clothing rack (the tables being on the other end of the room); Bremen and Osana quickly joining in taking cover there.
Arrows fly incoming before the goblins appear in your torchlight; most skitter into the mess on the floor but one grazes Lug
(-2). Baxtaw, Lug, Bremen, Stantz, Rowine, and Crowgar all return fire, being prepared for such goblin tactics, shooting their own arrows into the darkness near where the arrows came from. Baxtaw's arrow elicits a goblinoid cry and is followed by a thud
(-6). This is a scuffling and some alarmed voices followed by quiet as the next round of arrows fails to arrive. Bremen reloads his crossbow.
