You start talking to him and then the lift doors open and two security officers exit, their weapons out. They instantly focus on the two of you. "Hands up! Against the wall! Move!"

Then the stairwell door opens and admits two more security officers who give you the once over and then race to the apartment.

That causes some grumbling, but they will summon someone to correct the misunderstanding and get you to one of the larger gambling rooms, though they will make sure you know that you can come back at any time to see them.

The large room is filled with a haze of smoke and there are many tables filled or partially filled with gamblers. Looks like a mob operation.

There won't be more questions. The officers seem a bit dazed, and you can get on the lift without further problem.
