Trist replies to all, "I still have some magic left in me and Jivet my familiar is doing ok too.

Trist will grab up the coins to share with the others if no one else has done so. She takes a masterwork Kopesh to sell or see if she likes wielding it and learn to be good with it.

Weston

We need to keep moving forward, while we have the surprise. If we back up know to rest they will be one alert when we try to get back in and it will far more difficult. I've been holding off use spells where possible so we have them for inside. Now might be the time to heal up anyone that needs it with the staffs.

Zylore

The ranger listens and waits for any additional healing of his companions, knowing they must move forward.
"Let's move out! The wounded get in the middle of the group. Maybe we'll find a place to hole up for a bit so our spellcasters can rest and replenish their spells."

Egon

Trist

Trist says, "I'm ready to go as well."

Trist makes sure she's got her gear settled. Gets her bow out and ready. Gets in marching order to move out.

Jivet, I'll send you scouting as usual. Invisible my dear. Please.

The door is unlocked and opened on the other side it definately looks and smells like you are walking into an old castle or stone fortess as it actually is. No more does it look like natural caverns or even mined out carved stonework of the mines. The air smells different you can smell the musk of the recent hobgoblins and orcs that have come through here not too long ago. There are torch sconces pinned to the walls every 20 feet or so alternating which wall they are in, most are holding lit torches to light your passage forward. The stairwell has no side doors or anything but they do decend for quite a long distance you lose track of how long they are after decending for about 10 minutes. Eventually you see up ahead a set of doors that open open outward into what you suspect is a larger room probably with guards inside.

Delsenora & Elanriel

Delsenora and Elanriel continue the job of guarding the rear. Del studies for a moment the stonework, hoping that being drow could give her a clue as to who built this space.

Egon

Egon carefully begins to advance in.

Trist

"Jivet stay with Egon as you advance. Alert him if he misses something."

Jivet will warn Egon in elvish quietly of any concerns hoping he will understand.

Egon

Egon will check the doors for traps and then listen at them.

Egon detects no noises he gets a sense that it is a little too quiet. The clerics of the group get a disquieting sense of evil here. Finding no traps Egon sets to work picking the lock open the tumblers fall into place and he hears the telltale click of the lock being unlocked from his skillful work. There is a chill here in the air that is more than the mere damp of being in a cellar or dungeon of a castle. Something that makes the hairs of your arms stand on end.

Egon

Egon will open the door and look around before moving forward.

Zylore

The ranger shoulders his bow and draws steel; longsword in his left hand, hand axe in his right. He waits and listens as Egon works on the locks.

Trist

Telepathically, "Jivet be ready got anything girl.."

Trist will put her bow away and the confines make it more likely she'll need her steel blades.
