He somehow managed to escape my first attempt. ;)

Okay, I'm going to need some direction here. I have some updates saying they're ready to press on. Others not.

What is the group going to do?

And it happened when he wasn't being a selfish twerp. There's a lesson there somewhere. :)

Go back to being selfish? ;)

AdaRue's motherly instinct is very supportive of holing up to heal, but she is also willing to press on.

The DM is getting antsy, and is starting to think a random encounter check might be in order.

Just saying. ;)

Really?
It's been 15 minutes in game time since we first entered the stinky room. It seems that there are only three or four players that have chimed in with their opinions.
You should have a glass of wine, you should. :D

Yea, Dimly was ready to take a break after being reduced to 1 hp in the first encounter ;) I don't think he's well enough to do much more than rear-rank ranged support for now =/

Horatio's plan is to avoid combat until the party rests and the clerics decide to prepare spells that do something he can't do with a lantern. ;)

FYI, clerics do not need to memorize 'cure' spells, but can cast them in place of any other memorized spell(s) they have. So, they can memorize 'light' or any other spell, but still cast 'cure light wounds' in its place.

See: 'Class Specific Rules'

I forgot you were doing that.

I don't want to make all the decisions. So if anyone wants to lead or call out preferences, please do.

You've been doing great, and the game is moving. I'd keep doing what you're doing until someone complains or says otherwise.

Anyone can feel free to say otherwise, but I don't want the game to stall because we're waiting for more opinions.

Agreed. Besides, Junius is doing the scouting, so he should drive the action.

If Horatio takes over, it's going to be to go find a place to hide and recuperate. :)

Yea, good job stepping up to lead the group forward.

If we survive the next fight, though, we should consider retiring for the day.

I'm sorry, but please do not metagame like this.

A round is 10-seconds. It's a deadly situation. Your characters would not have the luxury of sitting back and waiting to see the results of the actions of everyone else (standing behind them) before deciding to attack or not.

I will let it pass this time, and your decision is locked in, but this also means that if for any reason (e.g. cover) the other rolls you examined don't actually hit, or the goblins act first and more of them appear, that you'll be able to insert your attacks after-the-fact.

*shrug* I'm not going to pretend that I can pretend not to see what I've read. If you want a game that's totally free from those kinds of decisions (whether people admit them or not), put everything in private forums.

Or just expect that players will make those sorts of decisions and not admit it.

Wrong answer.

Apologies, but I am not in the mood to deal with this now. Do not expect an update today. And maybe not anytime soon.

I've removed my OOC comment from the post. You would have had no reason to complain about what's left.
