Tyrion(NPC) Goes into the forest to gather some wood. He comes back a few moments later dragging long branches in each hand behind him with small logs and a rotted wagon wheel on top.
"Got us some wood fer a fire an found dis ol' wagon wheel a bit down da hill. Queer eh?"
He shoots sparks at some dried pine needles and ignites some of the drier wood. Once a good flame is evident he throws green leaves on it causing thick smoke.
Craxzus finishes his incantation and a breeze can be felt blowing into the cave, carrying the plumes of smoke with it and fanning the flames even higher.

A few minutes go by and smoke billows back out of the cave mouth, indicating it has filled.
Moments later hard coughing can be heard. Crude daggers and swords are thrown from the dark cloud and a rough voice barks "PARLAY! PARLAY! Weez a comin out, eh?"

Throm "Eh?" the stout dwarf proclaims with a bushy eyebrow raised. "What er yah about ya smelly orcs?!" he shouts at the cave mouth.

More coughing and rasping.
"Weez given up see? Weez talk 'bout dis. Maybe splitz some loot wit ya."
Coughing continues.

Craxzus- Smiles about the outcome of spell. COme out of there with your hands up. And we wont hurt ya. Well at least I wont I do not know about my bearded friends here.

Throm "Split? Bwahahahaha! If yer givin up an thinkin ta tellin us what we can have yer bout ta find the back o yer head in the front soon enough orc." Translation: my war hammer will surely crush your skull orc if you think you can Split treasure when you are surrendering

"Yes, talking is good! I'm sure we all got off on the wrong foot here. We can be civil about this, right guys?" You are not sure whether the little gnome is being sarcastic or genuine, but you do know this, a look of relief is clearly on his face, having successfully avoided a fight with armed orcs.

Eirenaios muzzles his laughs at how relieved Ruken looks and waits for the orcs to come out of the cave.

Throm "Bah they was askin fer it, that comment bout dwarves pullin the cart like mules."

"Aye, we should hook them up to a cart and see how they like it!" Thorgrim recocks his crossbow and steps back a few steps, keeping it trained on the mouth of the cave. He's hoping the sight of an unearthly, ghostly crossbow being pointed at them will put a little extra fear into them.

Voice 1: "Tis yer own doin this is, Ragnisk. You git out der first'n *cough* see whats what."
*cough* *cough* *PUNCH GRUNT* *cough*

A few moments later an ugly orc sticks his head out of the smoke and breathes deeply the air, he crawls a couple feet and collapses on his back. His eyes are wide with fear and searching the group but too weak to do anything but except his fate.
*cough* *cough* *cough*

The gnome looks around the group as they point their weapons and snarl. He then looks down at the frightened orc in disbelief. "Well uhmm," the gnome starts as he walks towards Ragnisk. "Hello there." He extends his hand. "My name is Ruken, Ruken Honeybeard." The gnome looks back towards the others with a wild smile, heavily written in confusion, his eyes saying what his mouth does not, 'am I really doing this?'

"And you are... not our enemy, I hope?"

Eirenaios palms his face in a little embarrassment but somehow can't help but admire Ruken's attempt to befriend an orc, "Do your two friends plan to die by choking on the smoke?", he raises his voice so the other two can hear, "Why don't all of you come out so we can negotiate the terms under which we shall spare your lives"

He will keep an eye out for any suspicious movement by the surrendering orc.

Craxzus- Looks for more green brush to put on the fire. Ya best tell your friends to come out of that cave. They wont last long in there.

Throm stands there grumpy look on his face holding his hand axe ready to throw it should any orc try something stupid.

*cough* "Et chuut ka snash'as?" chokes an orc voice in the cave.
"Tell'em c'mon." says Tyrion (NPC) placing a boot on the orcs chest. It coughs and snarls and shouts back "Aye, aint dead."
One more crawls out followed by the other, both incapacitated from coughing. They lie in a fetal position struggling for air.

Craxzus- Stops the spell. Keep your hands where we can see them.

After a few moments the orcs regain their breath and sit up. One speaks:
"So. Here we iz. Did'n cause no hurt ta youz. Did'n muck nuttin up. Youz doin da hurtin an muckin. What now?"

Throm "Guessin that'd be up ta ya. You wanna fight or live eh?"

Thorgrim snorts, "We ain't hurt ya yet...but that could change. What were ya lookin' fer? Do ya always go rootin' through the midden heap?"
