Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
The group enters the leftern most cave upon entering you notice mosses growing on various parts of the cavern floor large mushrooms in patches as well aside from that a single passage way that leads off to the back of the cave and likely deeper the musty breeze comes up from the back of the cave which is the direction the passage leads to. Nothing confronts the party and you get to the back of the cave the wet dog smell is stronger and the cave changes a little where as the front almost looks like the forest outside has grown into the cave here the cave looks more like you'd expect.

Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
Crow signals the group to slow and he'll slide ahead quietly and keep to the shadows as he advances further into the cave - looking to surprise any surprises he encounters.
Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
Arastor covers 6 of his arrows and then provides cover for Crow as he scouts ahead.

Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
Crow attempts to use stealth to scout ahead however he stumbles on some of the loose rocks on the ground and clearly did not meld into the shadows. However scouting ahead did not reveal anything more. Nothing even appears to have reacted to the noise the less than surefooted thief has made.

Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
Krakus looks into the cave as he enters. Are us humans to enter blind or are we going to light a torch? Maybe the ranger should scout ahead he has the nightvision to see in the dark.

Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
Crow is happy to slide back into the safety of the group and allow someone with better vision scout the way....
Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
Arastor grins to himself at Krakus's suggestion and Crow's subsequent return. Arastor moves slowly into the area so recently vacated by Crow. He takes a moment to allow his eyes to adjust to the darkness and then moves along the wall silently.

Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
The semi-stealthy Arastor doesn't make a sound as he walks however even in the dark everyone can tell he has not melded to the shadows. He too finds nothing more than Crow did and yet there is no light source present some of the moss or maybe it is some of the mushrooms in the back emit a greenish glow to them much like some of the stories of the underdark though this is miles from there. You can see relatively clearly the passage winds around and goes deeper and nothing can be seen in the passage or heard other than the present adventuring party.
Arthur keeps his staff and sword handy and follows the group where they go he goes.

Bandir will keep his bow drawn and near the front so he has a clear shot should he need to shoot and it is a wolfwere or monster.

Arastor will continue to follow the passage deeper into the cave.

Bandir moves in a little behind the ranger and stays near the front to have a clear shot should it be necessary.

Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
I apologize if I skip over some players to keep the action moving. I was trying to progress the story a little faster than we had previously been doing.
Arthur sheaths his sword and does some hand gestures of a spell says a little incantation that Pheras recognizes and part of the staff emits a light glow. Lighting the area around the party as if carrying a torch. "There that aught to keep everyone enlightened." he continues to follow the group with his sword back in his left hand again.

Re: Part 3: Of Wolf and Man
Continuing on through the only cave passage about 50 feet in the passages takes a decline down into the deeper underground and about 30 feet further down the passage splits and goes in three directions right, left and straight. Straight ahead the cave continues to decline to the left it appears to stay at the same level as far as the party can see. To the right it appears as if the passage might incline a bit as it snakes around a bend in the passage. The light from Arthur's staff illuminates enough to see all of this as he moves up to allow the scout to see better going ahead. The wet dog smell and slight breeze come from the left and from straight ahead. So far all is still quiet nothing has attacked the party as of yet.
What is the party's plan which direction will they go?

"Arastor, do the tracks indicate which path is used more", Whispers Bandir? "IF so that should be our path. IF not then we can go left or straight."
