The diary Zirus acquired from the podium in the theatre room is written in elf-tongue. The pages are crumbling and faded. It appears to be written by a wood elf from a long forgotten community. The first few pages tell that he was the eldest member of a council that resided in the Seamyst Forest; the forest you have no knowledge of. His name was Dinenor. Many of the pages describe council meetings that took place in a small theatre room, beneath a great oak tree of grand spirit. The final pages tell about a grim time for the wood Elves. War with a wizard named Damara and the loss of their forest to the humans from the city of Dragons Belch. The final entry depicts the last stand by Dinenor and his wife and small child. This is the last entry.Sol wrote:[Zirus - Lizardfolk Aspiring Cleric 0] (HP 10/10) (AC: 16)

Actions: Passes Diary to Artorias, Takes Book
When the Psion turns down the spell book, Zirus cracks it open and begins examining its pages. "This book speaks-s-s of the divine realms. I may find something here at my leisure to pursue. What of this, Artorias?" Zirus says, producing the diary from his belt and tossing it to the Psion, "The writings of this-s-s volume are a mystery to me. What do you make of it, my warmling brother?"
Zirus then returns his attention to the map and becomes silent, as if in deep thought.

Buckey steps into the pool with trepidation. The pool is roughly 6' feet long and 2.5' wide. the floor of the room has been dug/mined around the spring pool, the sides of which raise up several feet. The cool spring water, bubbling up from below, is cool and refreshing. A peaceful strength begins to envelop his mind and his body begins to heal and ebb with new strength. After several minutes Buckey feels as good as new, in fact he feel stronger than ever.Keehnelf wrote:Buckey, Halfling {HP: 4/10, AC: 12/12}

“Oh my God! What took you so long! I have been wasting away to nothingness. Gorthak had to inter my bones already! What does a princess have to do?”
She flies around the group eyeing their new gear.
"Can we go now?" she asks. "I am soooo bored. There is nothing to do here, just look around." She flies around in a wide circle pointing in every direction. "Nothing! There is nothing but this itchy grass! She points to the ground. "How is a princess supposed to thrive in this...this...Dessert!?"

Taken one last swim in the pool (I recall it leads somewhere and Zirus needs to explore this before leaving).

As an aside to Zirius in response to his comment, "You're freaking me out with all your talk about eating that doesn't involve cupcakes, but any god that finds me awesome is a god I think I could ask more favors of."

"Yeah, the village is on the way. Eddistone Point is like nine hundred miles* past the village, so it'll take us till morning to arrive if we push on. And I, for one, do not plan to walk all night for five lousy gold pieces."
*Buckey is not concerned with accuracy when trying to get people to move, and he is working from Halfling Miles. One hundred Halfling Miles are an equivalent subjective travel time to one physical mile traveled by foot while having missed second breakfast.

[Elktran - Dark Elf Psion - Lv 0] {Hp:10/10} {AC: 9}
Embarrassed, Elktran chuckles a little and says "I suppose my sense of direction was off, I could swear Eddistone Point was closer." He fits his own Silver Dagger into his belt where the knife once was and then wraps that in his bedroll, stuffing it into his bag. "Onwards then I say! he exclaims rather cheerfully.

Re: Eddistone Point
The party moves off down the road, following Esilia. The plains flow out in every direction and the mountains to the north slowly grow out of the northern horizon, as the fiery yellow orb in the sky crawls its way across the blue expanse. The journey to Hommlet is long, boring, and uneventful. Nearly five hours pass before the village buildings appear, marking the edge of town. The sun is starting to fall from the sky and your legs are getting very tired, especially Buckey's, he's travelled 8,000 miles today.
As you start to enter the village you notice something is very wrong. You hear no children or barking dogs, no people talking, nothing at all. Then you notice half of the buildings and houses have been smashed in or raised completely.
You have advanced to the first intersection from the south.
Actions!
