Rand steps to the back of the group, letting the front line fighters do their thing.

Sunshine

Sunshine fires at eyes in the back. The fighters can handle the spider up front.

Bow [1d20+6] = 18+6 = 24 Damage [1d6] = 2
Bow [1d20+6] = 10+6 = 16 Damage [1d6] = 2

If Whitsell gets a hack at a spider, he will take it.
long sword attack [1d20+4] = 18+4 = 22 thac017; damage [1d8+4] = 5+4 = 9

If there is room Flynn thrusts through with his sword and follows with his dagger.

Deceidon holds his arrows given the hallway is too crowded.

Sorry for the delay everyone, had a lot of family plans these past few days, and my attention was diverted to other campaigns.

I rolled initiative for you guys and you won, so you all acted first this round, sleeping bonuses still included. Whitsell lashes out with this longsword, putting down the wounded spider before him. Elithil cleaves his weapon mightily against a new arachnid foe and damages heavily. It still stands though and manages to land a successful counter attack. [1d6] = 6 The venomous fangs of the huge spider clamp down on the elf's left shoulder and starts to inject its poison. Elithil loses 6 hit points and will need to make a saving roll for poison at +3. Elithil's second attack's success will be dependent on whether he makes his save or not.

Another spider enters the battle, crawling over one of its dead cousins, and starts to attack Whitsell. His plate mail pulls through though and he recieves no damage. Another spider can be found crawling up above, over the fighters. Sunshine directs his arrows at the creature hanging above, both penetrating successfully. Are you using the poison dipped arrows?

Flynn, seeing the battle come closer to the mid ranks, prepares his rapier and dagger, making sure that Rand and the others are somewhat protected. Captain Hal adopts a similar defensive position, drawing his longsword in anticipation for battle.

Actions and Rolls everyone!

The warrior elf's muscles start to lock up and become extremely heavy, preventing him from moving; he falls to the ground in pain. His second attack does not go through.

Rand draws his dagger, still waiting in the back. He seems to be searching for something in the dark tunnel ahead of the group.

"Vie evil arachnids!"Flynn steps forward to take Elethil's place. He slashes with sword and swipes with dagger.

Deceidon drags back Elethil to safety.

Elethil lies down on the job, the lazy elf.

The mighty elf falls to poison and is unable to move. Seeing this, Deceidon quickly tries to drag him away and leave room for Flynn to enter the fray. Borrowing a dagger from the fighter/thief, Flynn slashes and stabs with his rapier and dagger at the weakened spider that was in front of Elithil. The spider goes down with Flynn's first attack, but is about to be quickly replaced by another huge spider.

Whitsell holds up his steady defense and deflects another one of the spider's blows, counterattacking with one of his own. The blade strikes its target but does not take down the furry arachnid. Meanwhile, Sunshine continues his volley of arrows, directed at the large spider now hanging over the middle of the group. He fires two arrows from his special bow and manages to hit the spider with the second one, bringing it to the ground in pain. Captain Hal takes advantage of this development and proceeds to cut it up using his longsword, to great effect at that. The spider's legs go flying off and it crumples up, dead.

This leaves 3 spiders dead and at least two more left in combat, facing Whitsell and Flynn.

Amberlynn has begun treating Elithil in the back of the group, stabilizing his wound so that he doesn't suffer bleeding damage. She cannot do anything about the poison though, just like last time with Whitsell.

State your Actions and Intentions please!

Flynn thrusts again with his sword at the new spider before him, then follows up with an ineffectual dagger slice.

If Deceidon from behind and between the fighters can safely shoot his bow without risking hitting the fighters, he will do so.

Rand, Unable to do anything in combat where he is will drag the spider to the back of the group and begin cutting it open with his dagger, attempting to get the creatures venom for poison and for an antidote to be made for the next time they fight spiders.

Let me know what needs to be rolled.

I went ahead and did the rolls for you, here were the results. As Rand drags the spider back and starts to work at it with his dagger, he finds the task of extracting the poison glands to be very difficult. Sunshine and Deceidon made it look so easy, probably having more experience with such things. Barely able to find the sac in question, he tears at it messily and finds the poison. It is at this point that he realizes that he has no container or vial to put the venom in. Bringing his shirt up to cover his nose, the sac starts to emit venomous fumes and the thief panics for a moment, not quite sure what to do with the slowly evaporating poison, let alone how to make an antidote on the fly. (you made your saving throw against the poison)

Amberlynn looks back at Rand's little stunt and her eyes widen in horror. "What are you doing back there!? Did you want to poison yourself as well!?!"

Rand waves the fumes away from his face, standing up, he gives Amberlynn a goofy smile, "Whoops. Looks like I won't be a very good taxidermist."

The two huge spiders and heroic fighters clash against each other simultaneously, fang against steel. The spider fangs try to bite, but is dodged and deflected by the nimble and sturdy heroes. Flynn and Whitsell have the upperhand as their attacks hit solid. Flynn's dagger follow up does not work so well though....

Go ahead and roll for the next round, Elithil is paralyzed for 2 more rounds.

Due to the tunnel size, this is all the action that can happen at the moment, I apologize if the others are getting bored waiting. Things will start to open up in a little bit, don't worry.

Whitsell attempts to finish his spidery foe off with a well placed jab.
