You have a contact in Midway that speaks for counselor Angela. Your mission was to investigate and clear out the area around that cave east of evies farm, which Varrick found on earlier expedition.MonkeyWrench wrote:Varricks cocky grin turns more solemn, now just a simply warm smile towards the girl, "A' be tinkin' dey'd like dat lil' one." He picks her up in a bridal carry before she can object and starts walking towards the house, cackling, "A' 'gree! Lettus fin' wot dat ol' basta'd 'ad stocked up ye?! Hahaha"
rest for the night then head back to midway? Or report back to elizabeth bay for new instructions? It's been so long that I've forgotten what our initial mission was, or did we just completely side track ourselves with that cave?
Throm and Rukens group were assigned to check out the woods west of Evies farm.

Alright, so since we cleared out the cave we can just check out the woods to the west then meet back at midway to turn in both quests.tooleychris wrote:You have a contact in Midway that speaks for counselor Angela. Re: Silverymoon Speak Easy
I've been noticing some new memory hog processes running in the background with chrome lately as well. Noticed it's taking a few more seconds to load. Sometimes pages take a few more seconds than before.
I use Dolphin browser on my phone and it's much faster and never crashes...

The best thing about Chrome is it's convenient, when you tie it with a google account you can change your laptop and still have all your information intact, and it's fast XD

Re: Silverymoon Speak Easy
Alright guys, since we're at a good rest point I'm going to allow some skill gain rolls. I WAS going to just allow Varrick and Thorgrim but I will likely be starting a new chapter depending on what you all decide to do so, allowing everyone a chance for their character to learn from their skill uses.
The way this works is this:
Everyone with a skill marked below rolls a d100 macro based on that skill.
EXAMPLE: Eirenaios Sling [1d100]
If the roll is greater than your current skill score it goes up by 1d6%
You may make a number of checks based on number besides the skill used.
Eirenaios successfully used his sling twice (slingx2) therefore can make the attempt twice. But only 1 success counts.
Also, EVERYONE can pick ANY 1 skill to automatically go up 1d6% without rolling for success.
I'm going to change the way skill successes are counted from now on (after this roll) to where you can gain up to 2 possible chances to raise a skill from experience, and an additional chance on a special or critical roll.
What this means is if Throm successfully uses his hammer five times in a chapter he gets 2 chances to raise the skill at the end of the chapter. If he succeeds 5 times then rolls a special or critical he would get 3 total chances to raise the skill at the end of the chapter.
Here's the list everyone has a chance of improving:
Temple of the Serpent Altar
Varrick:Dagger x3, search x3
Thorgrim:Dodge, axe x3, Search x2
______________
Liquid Gold
Thorgrim axe
Varrick throw dagger
Eirenaios sling x2
Throm hammer
Ruken: Search, Knowledge(Alchemy Procedure), Knowledge (bee keeping), Physik (RP bonus )
The higher a skill is the harder it is to improve. I call for a lot of skill increase rolls compared to pen&paper play, so don't be discouraged if you fail your roll. You get a free one and more are coming soon.
The more you post the quicker we get through chapters.
