Don't think we have enough rope for the former, do we? Maybe Tubs could go last, unhook the rope, then climb down?rredmond wrote:Try to rig the ropes so we can take them with us, or leave them tied at the top of the plateau?
Or... climb down half way, disconnect the two ropes, and then climb down the second half on his own? When we want to leave, he'd have to climb back up 50' and reconnect them...

Re: OOC
well we don't know yet if there are again hand/foot holds like there was on the outside.

I was under the impression wolfpack meant the surface of the rock was rough, such that there were plenty of hand- and foot-holds to be found, not that anything was carved out of the rock. I suspect it would be easy to look down and determine if the interior surface is completely smooth or if it, too, is rough and offers similar hand- and foot-holds.GreyWolfVT wrote:well we don't know yet if there are again hand/foot holds like there was on the outside.
Of course, might be worth the effort of walking around the rim to see if there ARE indeed hand- and foot-holds carved into the inside...

Re: OOC
There's a slope, a steep one, but there's a slope.
The hole at the top is 240 feet across, and it tapers to 150 feet across below.
That should be fine for Tub to climb with ease. Just won't make for too quick an exit if we need one.

Re: OOC
Yeah that does make it a bit tricky if we need to exit fast.

The rock is rough, think like the rock faces free climbing rock climbers do. Going down the interior for someone with climbing skills will give them an additional 8% to their skill.
Re: OOC
Ah. Then Tub is quite confident he won't have an issue.

Re: OOC
I'm quite confident in Tub

Re: OOC
I'm confident of Tub, too!
But I'm also aware that shat happens, which is why i recommended the tie the rope around your waist thing in the action thread.
And in regards to the rope: I'm +10 to we leave it in place!
If we need to delta out of here in a big hurry and that rope isn't there, it's gonna be a Charlie Foxtrot situation minimum. Plus if we take the rope with us and something bad happens to the Tub & Vik show, one of you guys would have to try and make the climb.
Hey Wolf, I'm curious... what kind of percentage chance would you give a non-thief character trying to climb out of there?
