We first need to get him treated for that disease using pre-split funds.
Re: Barrow Mounds: Mummy, the Return.
Unfortunately you find that the Helix Hospice and Midwifery was burned to the ground yesterday, (May 20th) and that Savant, Dalin's previous expedition comrade, perished in the blaze. We first need to get him treated for that disease using pre-split funds.
You can post in the chapel thread for info on finding potential cures.

Re: Barrow Mounds: Mummy, the Return.
Here's the loot list, unless I missed something ...
The plant items Moriartus will send to Clive at the Crooked Yew for analysis. The emerald, gold thread, and tree amber we can try selling in Helix for immediate cash.
The rest I expect we should export to Ironguard, especially the statue items. Those could be sold together to a collector or at auction.
6gp, 23sp
1 emerald
17 yards of gold thread
Large golden ankh
Gilded shawl and headdress
Siver loop and attached golden ankh holy symbol
2 lengths of root (Moriartus/Two-Birds)
3 bonsai tanks
3 jars of scions
72 tree amber ingots
Should bring these to Mazzah:
Magic mushrooms (of the hallucinogenic variety), Inkcaps, (the powdered spores can be used in inks), some wild lignified brackets of fungal Barkburr and a few grey Polyps that are great in soups. (Dougal)
From scouting side quest:
2 blowdart reeds (Cadeweed)
Pouch of mini flechettes (Cadeweed)
Throwable entangling net (Cadeweed)
Magic items:
Short bow and quiver of arrows (Dougal)
2 damask and fur lined cloaks (Moriartus/Two-Birds)
Staff with a carved canine head

Treasure Trove
This is my record of stuff found. How you divide plunder and claim items are character roleplay decisions.
From the antechamber:
sorry looks like we cross posted the same thing.

from the body of Barrett. Practically this could just cover a night at the tavern for your returning team, so I am not bothering with this.Checking his belongings, rummaging pockets and pouches gives up just a few meagre coins, 6gp, 23sp.
there are 72 brick sized ingots, each weighing about 2lb in weight, appraised by Meatloaf at circa 30gp each.In the other several ingot sized bars of amber tree sap.
Dougal has the bow and Moriartus & Two-Birds wear the cloaks.A short bow and quiver of arrows is found in one. The second has two folded garments, rich damask and fur lined cloaks. They fit a medium sized figure and are clasped at the collar and torso by horn buttons.
The heavy bonsai tanks, see previous pic are an unknown value. Moriartus has suggested he wants to use the the sinter (grafting stems) to aid the druids in their quest to halt the Impurax pestilence. The alcove has three glass tanks, each with a miniature garden scene. A small tree, fully formed blossoms in a pretty diaroma. The jars contain cut stems, each a slim budding branch nipped ready to graft into another sap abundant tree.
not a treasure but in return for magical aid and the anti-venoms, some of these are promised to the mage Mazzah.Dougal harvests a fine variety of fungi. Magic mushrooms (of the hallucinogenic variety), Inkcaps, (the powdered spores can be used in inks), some wild lignified brackets of fungal Barkburr and a few grey Polyps that are great in soups.
From the antechamber:
circa 100gp per yardage.Cadeweed and Meatloaf the Gnome work to collect the filigree thread looping it around elbow and thumb as one loops a rope - the two of them collect 17 yards worth.
probably worth several hundred at least.a human skull endowed with a sparkling emerald inset into its forehead.
detected as magic and providing wielder with ability to speak Gnoll/Kobold language. May have more traits.Under the Detect Magic invocation, Moriartus notes the radiance of magic from the staff clutched in the statues left hand.
You see that the staff and the decor on the statue may be removed.
The Ankh weighs several pound, and gold ingots retail at 200gp for a two pound block. The right hand holds a gilded loop with a heavy looking gold Ankh.
smaller than the other though the design is the same. You may reason this one acts as a Holy Symbol.Around his neck, the statue has a silvered metal cord holding another smaller golden Ankh,
needs appraising for value. The collar shawl is gilded on a thick leather base as is the moulded leather neckpiece that serves as some priestly type augmentation.
sorry looks like we cross posted the same thing.

Fydmar
Is content to sell all the swag and split the proceeds evenly like last time. Of course, those that received magic items should get lesser shares.

"Sound fair to me." in response to Fydmar
Turning to Moriartus "Moriartus, perhaps I could go with you to Mazzah as he might be able to use the pouch of mini flechettes. "

Re: Barrow Mounds: Mummy, the Return.
Suggested distribution of monetary shares ...
Osen gets a full share for underwriting the expedition, including all supplies and hireling wages/fees.
The miners and Two-Birds get a base 1/2 share.
Shares modified by -25% per each claimed magic item.
100% share
Cadeweed
Fydmar
Dalin
Durgo
Osen
75% share
Dougal (Shortbow and arrows)
50% share
Lemmy
Ozzie
Plantie
Meatloaf
Venwynn
Moriartus (Cloak, Staff)
25% share
Two-Birds (Cloak)
We can use the loose coin to help pay for shipping items to Crooked Yew and Ironguard. Moriartus will go with the caravan to Ironguard and handle appraisals/sales as he has other business to conduct. Anybody else is welcome to join. Date TBD.

Moriartus
"Agreed."
"Mr. Dalin, we can pay for any treatment from the gross treasure sales."
"Of course, Mr. Cadeweed, you are most welcome to join us to Mazzah's tower. Mr. Dougal and I will likely do so tomorrow morning. I suggest you keep the mini flechettes. Mazzah may be able to identify the poison the mongrel men used on them, though."

Re: Barrow Mounds: Mummy, the Return.
Reposting tentative plan here for input and suggestions.
Moriartus will visit the depot to arrange for shipment and passage with the next caravan to Ironguard Motte. On this trip, he would personally carry the small golden ankh and sparkling emerald from the skull.
Bill of lading:
72 amber tree sap ingots
17 yds of gold filigree thread
Heavy gold ankh
Gilded collar shawl and moulded leather neckpiece
A second shipment to the Crooked Yew, care of Brother Clive are the 3 heavy bonsai tanks, 3 jars of scions, the waterskin of magical fountain water and as a personal gift, his length of root from the Sylvanus mound.
Included is a note requesting Clive's professional analysis of the items and the water's potential as a treatment for the virus. Return shipment of the tanks and jars to Helix is also requested for which Moriartus will prepay.

"Before we lock that down", Cadeweed asks "Can I try on the cloak, I remember hearing once that some magical clothing changes for the size of the owner."

Dalin nods his head and thinks back to the fountain "What about that fountain we discovered? Maybe it's properties had something to do with healing or fighting diseases? Then again maybe these are just te desperate thoughts of a dwarf seeking a cure."

Re: Barrow Mounds: Mummy, the Return.
We already tried the water. No apparent effect.
Spearmint wrote: Two-Birds assesses the distraught Dalin, suffering already signs of a debilitating condition. She washes his face and hands with the water taken from the fountain and puts a salve upon his pockmarked face.
Two-Birds assesses Dalin's Mummy Rot [4d6]=19 vs 15 wisdom check.
The rot causing bacteria is not something she is familiar with and counsels the dwarf that his condition may continue to worsen unless the onset of disease can be addressed.

you can make an in character visit to the chapel to see what healing facilities might be available.

The Helix Hospice burned down which was a terrace of converted cottages used to nurse the sick.
The Church of St Ygg is still standing.
