I think we'd agreed a co-pilot with ships boat 2/sensor ops 1, but they keep falling through the cracks with all the stuff going on.

Situational skills (all close orbit specific) but at least his Gunnery and Sensor Ops transfers onto whatever he's sat in!

His namesake took out MiG-17s and IL-28s flying a barely serviceable Martin B-26 Marauder (20yrs post WW2) and/or a "Biafran Baby" (prop driven version of Bond's autogyro from Thunderball!!!) I sketched in the skills and stats so I could easily remember the NPC and his abilities within the unit.

Jess is doing fairly overt recon by setting up an office to buy "cargo" and/or recruits. Arriving in a sand-rail with Sugar should distract from the covert recon

I'm also assuming that this is something our intelligence officer can help us organise, or at least help us direct.

I guess the first thing we need to do is get some recon from around the area of our target to determine better points of recon where we might be able to set up permanent positions for a while.

Locals are potentially a valuable resource. I have high hopes for "reconnaissance by money" in a port like this.

True, but that works both ways if they're being paid to tell who been asking questions like that.

We also need to treat information from the locals with suspicion, they could be used to feed false Intel.
