Seeing the Phase Stinger, come right at him Therick tries to dodge the sting, but he wasn't quick enough to dodge the angle of attack!

Saving Throw Vs Paralysis (14): [1d20] = 9

Therick, yelps at the pain of the sting and shouts, "Crap!" and goes numb!

Therick joined the living statue club as muscles grow heavy and stiffen and he finds he is unable to move. Paralysis Lasts [2d4] = 5 turns

Del will hold her action until the last of us act, then either shoot arrows if Waspinator is alive or see if anyone is in need of healing. She can not do anything for Paralysis until she is Level 5.

As it is right now only Urtesi, Weston, Del & Elanriel can make any attacks Egon, Xlore & Therick are paralyzed currently.

Ok here is the quick summary for this round.
Stinger Battle Ends!
Initiative NPCs [1d10] = 8 PCs [1d10] = 5

Those that are not paralyzed act faster than the remaining stinger. Delsenora strikes it with an arrow for 4 dmg! Weston and Urtesi try to hit it buy miss. The heat metal spell already causing the stinger to glow a cherry red damages it further causing the thing to melt into a brass puddle near Xlore, Weston, Therick & Urtesi. Heat Metal [2d4] = 7 dmg spell kicked into searing level. Combat has ended and after a matter of less than a minute the paralyzed forms of Egon, Xlore and Therick are able to move again.

Therick twitches and jerks as his fighting of the paralysis when the injected venom wears off shows.

Saying, "Whew, that was crazy numbness.", as he rubs the spot of the sting.

Small Study
Searching the room reveals the same things that were in the room when you first entered though in more detail you find the following of the small study.

The study has a couple of reading tables, a desk, several chairs, a ratty old wolfskin rug, and shelves of books. The books cover various subjects herb lore, astrology, dwarven kinship rituals, children's games. There are 100 books in all they are thick and rather heavy volumes. On top of the desk are sheafs of vellum and inks and some quill pens. The desk has two drawers, both of which are locked.

Xlore-Thief-lvl5-AC5-9/13HP You spell casters may want to check out these books after I open these drawers. I am going to check for traps and pick the locks.

Xlore believes there are no traps on the top drawer and is able to unlock it. Then tries the bottom drawer and believes there are not traps but is not able to unlock it.

Egon believes there are no traps on the top drawer and is not able to unlock it.

So summary: Top drawer no traps and unlocked. Bottom drawer no traps still locked.

Opening the top drawer you find this drawer contains a bag with 60pp and 50gp.
