But you can never have too many fighters or healers, eh?
That is definitely true! :D

Welcome to wolfpack and ednichols. Is Majik gone, then? Folks aren't even getting a character rolled up before they disappear now. Hope my comment about making characters a bit on the eccentric side didn't scare anyone off, that's for sure. It wasn't meant to be definitive... :D

Oh, i'm not gone..... just "a little tied up" at the moment.
You'll be meeting the dashing Elf a little further down the rabbit hole.

You can make your own macro rolls in your posts, if you like.
I use them for checks, inititatives, saves etc ....
occasionally, sometimes, always, frequently, mostly, never.

The module is kind of linear at this point. But ive managed to change it enough. Now I need to know what the players want out of it?
Everyone make some rolls please.
The CHIEFS dont play this week. You are all gonna have to earn it the old fashioned way. 8-)
Macro like the one that i use would be great.
[1d100] = 47 [1d20] = 17 [1d10] = 9 [1d8] = 8 [1d6] = 5 [1d4] = 4
Perfect even. Unless you need a d12, in which case feel free to change it.
Can you all try that ? or a variation. in your 'in character' posts

macro examples...
[1d100] [1d20] [1d12] [1d10] [1d6] [1 d4]
[1d20] [1d20] [1d20] [1d10] [1d8] [1d8] [1d8] this would be good multiple attack roll?
(haven't tested these , but try some of your own)

Could you elaborate on this? Are you asking what our character goals are right now or something like that?

Here is my roll by the way, whatever it's being used for that is:
[1d100] = 43 [1d20] = 7 [1d10] = 4 [1d8] = 8 [1d6] = 4 [1d4] = 4

Here you go, Ston...

[1d100] = 5, [1d20] = 6, [1d10] = 9, [1d8] = 6, [1d6] = 5, [1d4] = 4

On what we want out of the game... I'd say I'm usually looking for adventure. That sums it up. Some situation that I've gotta have my character react to in some way or another because it's going to have an effect, so best use one's abilities/resources to do what one can and then see what comes of it...

And I'd say in general what I've liked about this campaign is its unpredictability from moment to moment... We've had some crazy shtuff go on -- gnomes falling out of the sky, for instance... :mrgreen:

Well, Im new to Greyhawk and 2.5 so I not sure what there is that differs from Forgotten Realms... but I chose a thief to aid the party with non-combat situations, like climbing walls and opening locks. :)

So I guess Im up for a kind of mixed bag of adventure (hack and slash) and problem solving (stealth and dungeon crawling).

Well, Fezuul has his own goals and ambitions, as a player though, I would like to see him make use of his specialized skill set, you know... make him feel useful :lol: This of course would lead into many kind of situations, both inside and outside of dungeonering.

Yea, it may be tough and keep eyes peeled for the opportunity

This may be my weakness, especially on pbp. Ive always been more a storytelling dm. I have mapped a few things out and the module does have some upcoming maps. Ill try to post them if I can, but right now it looks like i might have to take a picture with my phone and then email the picture to my computer and then....i am not too computer savvy...

Hopefully we are all feeling this. I try to make the game interesting beyond the norm, but lets face it, it's probably because I'M beyond the norm.
Who else puts a djinn in the first random encounter? And I will never forget the Curse of Lesh?

Sounds cool…. Then “tell me a story” and I’ll try not to get in the way.

Once I am actually in the way, that is.

if you have a smart phone take a picture go to www.imageshack.us and upload it. you can then take the link the website provides and post it here.

as for my character, I want to try to stay true to the kit. I would lie to see his personal goal somehow tied int the overall adventure, and for roleplay have it worked into the game.

The game strays from the module in many ways and yet the group seems to be on track.
The following is taken from the module.
The party can discuss details of clues they may have found. They come to no real conclusion, but feel certain that the stranger in the tavern, the attack on the Talaseka and the robbery are all connected. They have no idea what the motive behind these events may be.
Seems to me that we are screwing it up just right. 8-)

Same as last time, then! :mrgreen:

Lesh's Curse has definitely been filed in my DM's bag of tricks. Somewhere, sometime, some poor player will likely experience that one... ;)

Dont forget to put rolls in your posts
I use them for surprise, knowledge, anything really
it is just so much easier than getting an idea 8-) and then asking for your roll and then waiting for a response
if a roll (macro probably) is posted prior, it may move the game faster.
