Well, the world is still burning. It often looks like Mordor, or something out of Dante. So far, my area has not received evacuation orders, and I hope we don't. Other than the terrible air quality, life goes on.

I packed up the car with my most important things in the afternoon. Got the evacuation advisory early this evening. I am staying at a friend's house, hoping I will have a house and chickens in the morning. This is the second time I packed up the car, first time needing to leave.
I am safe, along with my little buddy, Hezekiah the cockatiel. That is what is important.
