Oh, nice. That's a big difference from AD&D 1e. Yes, definitely, let's un-freeze Markd.

"Sprinkles, heel," commands Fingers. He stands ready to step in front of his dog should the ghoul pursue it.

If needed:
Longsword +1 (THAC0 18) [1d20+2] = 8+2 = 10 [1d8+2] = 5+2 = 7

Has anyone rolled initiative yet?

Since Allmond held his action to cast CLW, I'm going to allow it to occur at the end of last round. Markd needs to post a new action for the new round.
As Markd's body begins to stiffen from the ghoulish filth in his wounds, Allmond steps forward and lays a hand upon his back, holding the warrior upright as a bulwark against the three assaulting creatures and calling on Baudh's might to save him. The stiffness leaves Markd, his sword and golden knife still clasped in either hand.

(Actions for Markd and Hengist, please.)

(nice-Thanks Allmond. Being an NPC is normally a thankless job)

long sword+1(2undead) (Thac0 16) [1d20+2] = 12+2 = 14; damage [1d8+2] = 5+2 = 7

long sword+1(2undead) (Thac0 16) [1d20+2] = 7+2 = 9; damage [1d8+2] = 4+2 = 6

Markd swings, but the chaos has him not as focused the 2nd swat.

Hengist reaches to recover his mace.

Fingers draws his sword, calling Sprinkles to heel and boldy defending the hound. Sprinkles dives behind his young master as Fingers' sword swishes past the oncoming ghoul. The ghoul then lunges, biting Fingers on the arm during his backswing (-3, make a save).

Hengist dives for his mace while Bandy is unable to find an opening in the dog pile on Markd. His limbs limber again, Markd slices down one ghoul with a mighty blow, dropping the corpse to the floor. The other two overcome him, however - the first tackles him to the ground (critical attack: tackle, lose one action, -1hp) while the second then bites him with it's teeth (-1hp), even as the first bite begins to seal shut on its own. (one save roll, please) Allmond moves to Fingers' aid. (He will cure paralysis if Fingers freezes)

Date: 2:44pm, 24 July 2021
Light: Allmond holding Markd's lantern (until 4:30pm)
Effects:
Injuries: None

Fingers freezes.

Save v. Paralysis (11): [1d20] = 9

Does Allmond's cure take effect in time for Fingers to attack this round?

Brought back by Allmond's ministrations, Fingers is mad. He hacks viciously at the ghoul, spitting out words with each blow. "Don't! Hurt! My! DOG!"

Longsword +1 (THAC0 18) [1d20+2] = 19+2 = 21 [1d8+2] = 5+2 = 7

Someone please roll initiative.

code: saving throw [1d20] = 11

I think that passed.

Does 1 action mean 1 attack or one whole round?
: Initiative [1d6] = 1
I rolled a shortbow attack in error when trying to select initiative roll.

Bandy continues, hoping that he does something a bit... more... this round.

Penderyn Longsword THAC016 [1d20+2] = 3+2 = 5 Dam [1d8+2] = 8+2 = 10

OOC: Oh come on, dice roller!

Bolstered by the efficacious application of Allmond's prayers, Fingers lays into his foe with a vengeance - his longsword severely wounding it (-7). The undead then rakes him with both its claws (-1, -1, save vs para), slashing his exposed flesh. Allmond swings his gnarled staff, splitting open the ghoul's skull and dropping it to the ground (Crit effect: double damage: -6hp)

The other two, pinning Markd to the ground, press their advantage. The first grabs his head and smacks it hard against the stone flooring, dazing him further (critical effect: stun another round. -1 hp) and rakes him with its claws (-2hp, save vs para). The second one aims lower, ripping open his guts to expose his innards (critical effect: double damage. -6hp). Bandy and Hengist try to rescue him but are unable to find a solid blow wherein they wouldn't risk hitting Markd as the trio wrestle on the floor.

Date: 2:44pm, 24 July 2021
Light: Allmond holding Markd's lantern (until 4:30pm)
Effects:
Injuries: Fingers (moderate wounds), Markd (minor wounds)

I assume that means his 1 action penalty last round included both attacks?

edit to add save
saving throw [1d20] = 11

Yes. It is a full round. You've lost next round, too.

Looks like you passed your save IF you bought good meals for a week in town. Did you? (Can you find the link for me?)

Fingers's muscles ache, but they do not stiffen. He looks for an opening to attack one of the ghouls on Markd from behind.

Save v. Paralysis (11): [1d20] = 19
Backstab w/longsword +1 (THAC0 18): [1d20+6] = 17+6 = 23, [1d8x2] = 2x2 = 4+2

Fingers only attacks if it looks like he'll be able to get an attack from behind in.

Someone please roll initiative?

since they are focused on Markd that shouldnt be a problem.

Bandy sees Markd go down in a mess of ghouls and likewise tries to help...

Initiative [1d6] = 3
Meh... you might want to reroll that.

Penderyn Longsword THAC016 [1d20+2] = 12+2 = 14 Dam [1d8+2] = 1+2 = 3
Oh! He might have actually hit this time.
