Aw, shucks.

Thanks. Strange thing is, I hadn't even thought of Harold as one of my more realized characters. I'd figured it was Lug, whose personality I think I know really well.

Lug definitely is more realized as a character, but Harold has a lot of presentation going for him.

I'd just like to add that I'm having a lot of fun reading and participating in this current narrative in my own small way. I'm really digging how well everyone's been able to juggle multiple PCs who each sit on opposite sides of this Bromric issue, and play each of their character's 'blind'. There's some really impressive role-playing going on this game!

I'm not surprised by this--it was much the same with the Black Wolf, so I expected folks to be able to handle such a situation with style :)

Another fun autocorrect. ;)

Seadu the Fearless? No, Seadu the Fingerless!

Crap--yeah, his name routinely autocorrected that way.

All my future character names will now be ones that autocorrect to nonsense!

Wanted to share something I just stumbled across on the blog of a gamer named Patrick Stuart (no, not that one). I wish I'd found it earlier, as it relates to the great forest fire; but thought people might still find it interesting and/or useful.

(Stuart's entire blog, incidentally, is well worth reading...he has some crazy genius, and not just about gaming stuff. His post about British 'Supermarionation' shows is incredible.)

That's a great article--thanks for sharing! I would have loved to have spent a lot more time giving impressions of the fire as the group was travelling in and near it, but I just don't have the bandwidth atm :)

I'm just as glad you didn't see that before now, or Lug & co. might have had an ever more difficult time getting out of that damned forest fire. :D

You would have had a really hard time if your only action hadn't been "move away from the fire with all haste" once it was near enough to be threatening.

My sister lost her home in the Fourmile Canyon fire. She has stories. It melted the glass in her windows. The trees in her yard are still black sticks five years after. I can't imagine being in or near one that's fully raging. :o

Used up my good rolls on the saving throws.
Shit just got real.

Right after everyone has used their sleep spells, that's when the goblin army scouting party will show up. ;)

There's a reason fighting isn't allowed in the town--and this is part of it :)

Hey guys--sorry for the delay in posting. We're a bit surrounded by wildfires out here and the smoke put me out of commission for a few days. I'll be back into it by late this afternoon.

Take your time. Lug, for one, doesn't need to go anywhere. :D

Good luck! I've heard there's little wind up there which is good to keep fires from spreading but terrible for breathing (smoke doesn't go anywhere).
