And certainly isn't proving to be one. ;)

You guys should just be glad Silas isn't still counting on you to defend him. Hahaha

Normally, I'd apologize for jumping the gun a bit, but the things were going to flee so it was just a matter of whether or not you hit -- and, boy, did you.

Hopefully that will turn the die roller fortunes going forward, because that was terrible to witness. At least that dry spell came when it did, and not when you were facing a more serious opponent.

Where did the last one scamper off to? The debris it was in that Fulp disturbed? Or elsewhere?

Good thing I didn't say it out loud then?

I meant to sat the little guy who is dressed and armed a lot like a thief that sneaks around and does all the thieving stuff.

You assume thief because he's a halfling and who in their right mind would play with the limits of a halfling fighter?

Maybe he's a poor (leather armour), unlucky (because when he finally got coin, they didn't have a suit of halfling-sized chain mail at the armourers where Festus got his), cold (black cloak for warmth) halfling fighter armed with a standard weapon of short people (Fulp would likewise be a thief based on that weapon assumption!) who just happens to be curious about things and take advantage of his natural halfling (not thief) outdoor abilities. :)

As to "...does all the thieving stuff"...

iirc, Ciar isn't the one who snagged the platinum candelabra from the kirk and then pawned it at the nearest jewelers! Surely the first thing a thief would have done in that situation would be to strip the place of riches and then rob the old dead man of anything valuable, like fancy plate male that apparently none of the humans wanted!

He's not picked a lock or pocket, has he? Climbed a wall with the barest of cracks? Stabbed anyone from behind to great effect?

Maybe I took full advantage of nobody knowing anyone else's actual class and so I'm having fun with the character, who is really just a simple hafling fighter. ;)

(Just having fun, OGRE MAGE. :) For the record, I was REALLY tempted to build the most generic looking half-elf I could and see how long I could go with people not having a clue as to what single/dual/triple class he was. :D But I really like halflings, for whatever reason, so I decided to go with something I'd enjoy playing.

If Ciar ever dies, fully expect a generic half-elf something-or-other. ;) hahahaha)

The room has been cleared, and you're welcome to carry out any activity you have in mind, but still must agree on how to handle the Fulp (and potential light source) situation.

I'm feeling merciful, and, honestly, having to deal with one incapacitated character is enough.
Hopefully this generosity is a grant and not a debt. :ugeek:

Point of clarification:

This isn't something that can be climbed onto. It's like a part of the ceiling -- a six-inch wide, semi-circular section -- is bumped out and slightly lower than the rest of the ceiling. In retrospect, I suppose "conduit" would be a more accurate description for what you're seeing.

It's made of stone.

Kassal suspects that the walls of the ridge/conduit is roughly an inch thick, so it could be broken through, but there are no obvious openings.

You can actually see the entire length of the ridge/conduit that is visible:

One end disappears over the top of one wall by the entrance, while the other end disappears over the top of the wall down the western passage, just after the passage turns north.
