["Seeker" Jyrbian Talanador of the Bleeding Eye - Lvl 0] {HP:4/10} {AC:9}
Action: It's not looting! It's... Salvaging!
Jyrbian takes note of the others all converging on the last of the horrendous creatures, feeling content that they have this fight in the bag he shifts his mole rat a bit to make both of their lives easier and walks around the last creature, giving a wide enough space that he is not in the way of the others, and begins searching the room for anything of value.
Since the DM is all Initiative crazed...

Re: Eddistone Point
Round 5 Summary!
Elktran, Gort, and Zirus gleefully burn the last Mouther to a crispy fritter. Meanwhile Seeker rubs his sore leg and snoops about the room.
Two of the hammocks have the remains of bodies, at least what is left of them. The flesh is mostly gone and the bones have been chewed and gnawed on terribly. A silver dagger protrudes from the remains of both skeletons. The third hammock is empty and the three pegs nearby are bare.
Next to each hammock are three wooden pegs. Near the two hammocks with skeletons are 2 backpacks, a quiver with several arrows, and 2 ropes, all of which seem to be in very good condition.
Contents:
(2) Medium backpacks
(2) Small grey candles
(1) Flint & Steel
(2) Waterskins (empty)
(2) Leather gourds, with a short 1” round opening, currently plugged. They feel empty, but show no external signs of ever having had water in them.
(2) Leather pouches containing 27 gp (total)
(4) Days worth of rations
(1) Map of the area
(1) Quiver w/4 silver-tipped arrows
(2) Black capes with a flaming eye on the back
(1) 150’ Liana rope ¼” thick
(1) 75’ Liana rope 1/8” thick
(1) Spell book
(1) Vial of dark liquid
(1) Spell scroll

["Seeker" Jyrbian Talanador of the Bleeding Eye - Lvl 0] {HP:4/10} {AC:9}
Action: Plot thickenings and questions unanswered!
Jyrbian eyes the two capes of the dead humanoids, his eye narrowing as he stands over the corpses. He quickly removes the capes and checks them over for any signs of damage, muttering to himself, "How dare they let some foul flesh bags kill them, and almost let their capes go to ruin as well! I do not know how long they have been here but the next follower I find I will have strong words for them.. Hmph...." He stashes the two capes into his own bags before relaying all of the items to the rest of the group once they are done burning the flesh creature.
After motioning to all of the contents Jyrbian grabs the map and places it either on the nearest table or just on the floor if none present themselves, "Now then, let us see what secrets they have found yes? Hopefully those two were at least of some use before they succumbed to these creatures."

[Zirus - Lizardfolk Aspiring Cleric 0] (HP 14/10) (AC: 16)
Actions: Prayer to the Goddess, Obtains various items
The Lizard Man snorts as the last of the Gibbering Mouthers are destroyed. He looks over to see the Seeker already plundering the place and narrows his eyes in thought. At last Seeker claims his prizes from the assortment and so Zirus strides over also to survey the findings. "You seem something worse for wear," he tells Seeker, "Perhaps you will consider once again making yourself humble before the goddess at the pool. At the least she may wash your wounds clean. If she is merciful, she may yet heal you." He whispers a prayer to her at this point, mostly to himself, but loud enough for any to hear. The mirror that he holds in his hands appears to glow, if only for an instance, before he places it again within his armor.
Of the findings, Zirus takes these: 1 small gray candle, 2 waterskins, 2 leather gourds, the spell scroll, and 7 gold coins. He then joins Jyrbian at the center table, taking the Spell Book and opening it there. "Here, Elf Lord," he says to Artorias, "Let us see together who among us might make the best use of this book. And let us have a closer look at this map as well."

["Seeker" Jyrbian Talanador of the Bleeding Eye - Lvl 0] {HP:4/10} {AC:9}
Action: I bite my thumb at you!
Jyrbian waves his hand dismissively at the notion of prostrating himself to the lizardmans god. "I am perfectly fine without your gods powers groping my body thank you." He moves the baby mole rat in his arms to re-position it better before fully setting into the map, calling out off-handedly, "If no one objects I would like to take the vial of dark liquid for my own. And Someone please bring the leather gourds over, might as well inspect what the fools were carrying around."

Gort - Savage 0 lv (HP: 10/10; AC 11)
Action: Takes rope, snags booze, heads back up
Gort's eyes light up when he sees all the rope and he says "Mmmm hmm... Gort take dis." And he grabs both coils of rope, and quickly heads back to the nasty kitchen to grab as much booze as he can carry. "Gort like da taste of dis."
Gort will then make his way back up to Gorthak, proudly displaying the rope and booze. He'll take the 75' of rope and sling it over his shoulder. He'll leave the other coil for whomever wants it. He'll also take a hearty drag out of the booze urn, wiping his mouth and contentedly saying "Gort glad we find dis. Tasty water."
Gort will wait by Gorthak, pausing till his minotaur friend gives him some direction...

[Elktran - Dark Elf Psion - Lv 0] HP: 10/10 Ac: 9
The Dark Elf smiles but politely shakes his head and says "I know nothing of magic, that isn't the sort of thing that I often study. I'm focused on the happenings of the universe and the energy's that it commands, the perception of other creatures, and most importantly the physical mind. Perhaps Seeker could help you decipher the magic text though, he seems to be someone who is involved in that." Elktran studies the goods for a while and takes a sliver dagger from one of the skeletons. "If I'm not conflicting with anyone I'd only like one of these daggers, I feel rather unarmed with this simple knife." He then sits and studies the map with the Lizard Man.

Re: Eddistone Point
Seeker takes it upon himself to pillage the joint while the others are dealing with the rats. Zirus catches him attempting to be sly and makes a mental note for future encounters. Gort snatches up one of the ropes and retires to his grog palace for another nip at the pot, then stuffs a 6” urn in his burlap bag, for future nips in dark corners, and lugs it to the surface to check on Gorthak and the others.
Zirus opens the spell book and map for closer inspection. The map clearly shows the area surrounding Dragons Belch, as well as various other known and forgotten points of interest.
The NW corner of the map was once a forest but is now nothing but a great sea of sand. The highlighted yellow circle in the center of the map is your present location, Eddistone Point to the north, your destination. You have heard of Hommlet, but nothing of interest stuck with you. The ^ on the map represent forest.
Item Divvy : (so far)
Seeker: 2 capes with flaming eye, 1 vial of dark liquid
Zirus: 1 small gray candle, 2 waterskins, 2 leather gourds, 1 spell scroll, 7 gold coins.
Gort: 75’ Liana rope 1/8” thick, 6" urn of honey rum
Elktran: 1 Silver dagger
p.s. I do not assume anything unless it is stated clearly. I am merely the moderator.

Re: Eddistone Point
Buckey's going to grab a couple of sacks of coins and add them separately to his belt, then advise that we head out to that village called "Hommlet". It should be an easy trip and nothing exciting ever happens in sleepy old villages like that so we're guaranteed a quick and safe journey the rest of the way to Eddistone Point.
Re: Eddistone Point
[Zirus - Lizardfolk Aspiring Cleric 0] (HP 14/10) (AC: 16)
Actions: Speaks to the group, examines items
Actions: Passes Diary to Artorias, Takes Book
Zirus eyes Seeker curiously, then says, "You would be beyond fortunate, humanoid, should the Goddess of the Court of Light choose to devour you whole. Still, perhaps this meal is in the future as of yet." He tilts his head at Jyrbian, the gourds in his hands. "As for these, I believe the gourds are my prize by right. Still," he says hesitantly, "You are welcome to the contents if you so wish." He removes the stopper on each and offers a look inside to Jyrbian. "As for the black liquid, in honor of our first meeting, I gladly relegate this delicious morass to you."
"You may address-s-s me as Zirus," the Lizard Man says to Buckley, "Yes-s-s, I have blessed the pool in the name of Shekinester. Go into her there, Hobbit, and see if she might regurgitate you from her gut fully healed. Only if you have won her favor will this will be so." Zirus flicks his tongue in and out at Buckley as if trying to decide if the taste of the Halfling will be to his Mistress's liking.
When the Psion turns down the spell book, Zirus cracks it open and begins examining its pages. "This book speaks-s-s of the divine realms. I may find something here at my leisure to pursue. What of this, Artorias?" Zirus says, producing the diary from his belt and tossing it to the Psion, "The writings of this-s-s volume are a mystery to me. What do you make of it, my warmling brother?"
Zirus then returns his attention to the map and becomes silent, as if in deep thought.

Action: Don't mess with the fish gods!
Jyrbian gives a disgusted look at Zirus, "I never know whether to feel pity or disgust for the lesser races choices in those they believe in. Such Gods do nothing but squander their powers or trivial matters such as jealousy or spite. Utter nonsense! If one should desire the power to overcome obstacles then one should look to themselves. The so called "Gods" do nothing of benefit." He waves his hand dismissively, "But these talks are pointless, fools will be fools, no matter how I try to tell them otherwise. Let us grab these things and be on our way before the bovine above ground gets restless." With that he will gather the gear with everyone else to bring it above ground to further divide it before heading off to the next place of interest.
Seeker does not say anything about the cloaks, whether anyone saw him stuff them in his pack or, he is intent to ignore it and let everyone forget about them.

Re: Eddistone Point
[Zirus - Lizardfolk Aspiring Cleric 0] (HP 14/10) (AC: 16)
Actions: Checks Gourds
Zirus stares vacantly for a moment at the Seeker, who has left him holding the gourds. Nonchalantly, Zirus takes a look through the openings to see what's inside, then corks them again and slings them over his shoulder. As Jyrbian begins gathering the remainder of the loot, Zirus says, "Ah, a moment if you would, Seeker. There may be yet more to see before heading topside." He beckons the others. "Tell me what you make of the map. To me it appears we are half of the way to Eddison Point. The old tales tell that in the Northeast there was once a great forest, plentiful with prey. Here, ahead, what's this? Hommlet. Hmmm... we should be able to reach it within a day. I suggest we drink of our water rations and replenish from the pool before leaving this dwelling. One never knows if we are to be waylaid."
The Lizard Man ponders further, then says, "If this place that we are in is a home, one must wonder if more are concealed here. Perhaps we can as-s-sk that of the fairy."
