Tibbius tries to maintain a defensive stance while hurrying along to stay within Vorkath's aura of goodness. He sneers at snarling wolves that dare not approach the burly knight. Again, he calls out "Strahd! Now be a good chap, don't be tiresome. And please don't pretend you're not listening; we all know how keen is your hearing, and your interest here."

Robert, with determination in his eyes to take out the next wolf will swing at it.
You keep rolling that well Zhym, I'm tempted to let you keep rolling!
[1d20+1] = 19+1 = 20 [1d8+1] = 6+1 = 7
OH@ Almost another natural 20

You seize the initiative.

Agrippo deals a glancing blow to one of the two wolves in front of him. They both try to bite the legionnaire, but his armor is too strong. Another wolf charges in from the dining room to attack, but it too is unable to penetrate Agrippo’s armor.

Tumbler drops his crossbow and swings his hammer at the wolf that tried to bite him. It grazes the wolf’s shoulder, but his swing gives the wolf an opening to bite Tumbler’s arm. (Tumbler: -3 HP)

Robert and Iluq continue to wail on the wolf between them. Robert’s scimitar cuts deep into the wolf’s flesh. Iluq’s hammers hit with strong blows from the left and the right. The first knocks the wolf down. The second finishes it. The wolf falls dead on top of the wolf Robert and Iluq killed only a minute ago.

Vorkath moves through the foyer to the main hallway. Bats and wolves move to keep out of his way. Tibbius follows, taking advantage of the paladin’s aura. Vorkath reaches pile of dead wolves; the two lupine bodies are stacked almost as high as the paladin’s shoulder.

Further down the hall, Ismark and a wolf continue to battle. Both miss the other. Ireena runs into the room and charges at the wolf. “Get behind me,” she tells her brother. “They won’t attack me!”

1st attack: [1d20+2] = 16+2 = 18
damage: [1d6+3] = 5+3 = 8

2nd attack: [1d20+2] = 3+2 = 5
damage: [1d6+3] = 6+3 = 9

Agrippo will shield himself from the two wolves in his left and front and spear the wolf on his right hand side."Take that you hairy mongrel, I'll make a new set of gloves from yer mangy hide, aaaaargh!!!"

Iluq, 39/39

Iluq, hammers in hand, leaps over the wolf corpses in front of him and heads down the hallway to the entry room where Agrippo is, attacking any wolf along the way, and if he reaches Agrippo the nearest wolf he reaches.

Iluq, dual +1 hammer attack, THAC0 16: to hit, [1d20] = 10+1, [1d20] = 12+1; damage [1d4] = 1+2 (+1 v. L), [1d4] = 3+2 (+1 v. L) hits AC 5, 3

Robert will make his way towards the main entrance room, swatting at the bats as he goes.
Not too sure if Robert can make it to the entrance and attack the closest wolf, but just in case, here's a roll!

[1d20+1] = 5+1 = 6 [1d8+1] = 5+1 = 6

Vorkath will move to protect Ismark.

"Tibbius, you can use distance weapons still while near me," says the Paladin.

Vorkath is moving one way through the hall and Iluq and Robert are moving the other way. You can't get past each other (especially with the dead wolf pile in the way). Do you want to all decide to go one way or the other? Otherwise everyone will end up stuck in the middle of the hall. You could also have either Vorkath or Iluq and Robert wait until the other has passed; that'll cost you initiative, but you'll still get to move.

You grab the initiative yet again.

Iluq and Robert try moving west down the hallway as Vorkath heads east. Vorkath goes first, with Tibbius in tow in the paladin’s aura of protection. They clamber over the dead wolves. At the south end of the hall, a wolf snarls at Ireena but does not attack. Ismark stands behind Ireena, protected by these creatures’ strange unwillingness to attack her. When Vorkath approaches, the wolf—its forward progress blocked by the Burgomaster’s daughter—turns and attacks the paladin. Vortkath’s armor is more than a match for the wolf.

After Vorkath passes, Iluq and Robert continue into the entry hall. There they find Agrippo single-handedly fighting three of the massive beasts. As they enter the room, Agrippo thrusts his spear clear through one of the wolves! It falls dead. Agrippo puts a foot on the dead wolf and pulls his spear out of its body. The other two wolves remain unable to bite through the warrior’s thick armor.

Tumbler continues battling a wolf in the parlor. His hammer blow swings wide of the mark. The wolf lunges at Tumbler. Tumbler takes a deft step to the left, and the wolf flies headlong into the wall! As it lies stunned, Tumbler takes another swing, and this one connects, striking the wolf on the shoulder!

Tibbius turns and stalks back toward the foyer, which (he presumes) still glows with the soft continual light from last night's sand of bag.

EDIT: If anything bothers him along the way, he swings his staff at it ...

Vorkath strikes at the wolf in front of him but his great blade scrapes the wall of the hallway and throws the aim off.

This time, the wolves act first.

Agrippo continues to battle two wolves. One leaps at his chest but is again unable to bite through his heavy armor. The other gets a determined look in its eyes, snarls, and bites through a greave! The wolf’s yellow, slaver-covered teeth clamp onto the legionnaire’s leg and hold on. (Agrippo: -6 HP.) Agrippo brings his spear around and shoves it into the wolf, prying it from his arm.

Iluq and Tumbler continue their wolf-smiting tag team, ganging up on the wolf in the southwest corner of the entry hall. The wolf, still reeling from Iluq’s hammer blows a moment ago, lowers itself on its haunches and snaps at the dark elf. It tastes only the metal of the dark elf’s armor. Iluq quickly counters with another powerful pair of hammer strikes to the head, leaving the wolf dazed and disoriented. Robert adds a slash to the shoulder with his scimitar. The wolf is heavily wounded, but yet lives.

Tibbius leaves the safety of the paladin's aura and joins the group in the entry hall. He is unable to reach any of the wolves yet.

In the parlor, the wolf towering over Tumbler bites the dwarf’s head (Tumbler: -6 HP). Tumbler fights through the ringing in his ears to ring the wolf’s bell with another hammer blow.

In the east wing, Vorkath’s armor is still too strong for the wolf to penetrate. But the paladin is unable to do any better. His sword strikes the wall instead of the wolf.

Ismark and Ireena take advantage of the wolf’s attention to Vorkath to step up and attack it from behind. The wolf is moving too fast for Ismark to hit it, but Ireena’s swing cuts off the wolf’s tail.
