"My preference is that you leave the pocket universe to Spicoli," Ciencia said. "Stay together and handle these issues as a group, please."

"The Dart is on J6," Metz said. "Wouldn't be much use to you right now. I've designed something that will be."

William looked at his wife and nodded after a moment. "Do you want to handle the Corridor Fleet and the jump six couriers coming through Corridor itself? It would be better done from Vincennes. We will need subsidiary warrants or authorization to shut down the calibration points in the Great Rift. Aster, we will need the deepest possible access into the Navy systems and authorization codes. We can probably use some of that in the rift and some of that at Dlan when we go after Isis, her mother and ultimately Dulinor." He looked at Doctor Metz. "As Walt said we are going to need a hot ship with the best stealth and intrusion capabilities possible. Since we don't know exactly what we may need a small fabricator would be a good idea. We also need to follow up on Walt's idea to send a courier to Capital to find out what is going on. It might not hurt to have a portal installed in the system to allow continued monitoring."

"Frederick, how much of the palace would be destroyed by your antimatter bomb? Do you think there are Marines or troops that would remain loyal to Ciencia in the Guard? It would be good to have sources on the ground."

William looked to the others. "I say we take out Dulinor and Company while we have the advantage of information superiority. Then we clear out the calibration points in the Rift and move on to the nobles and 'Corps. Garvin, do you think that the Collace mercenaries could be used as muscle? We don't need battalions but we will need special forces."

Garvin looks worried "Ah, well, now there's a thing. I think they'll argue the Emperor's death and Imperial civil war might be a "force majeure" breaching their contract and requiring renegotiation. They signed up for service in Reaver's deep an' no one mentioned assassinating the current Emperor. The Aslan ambassador might surely see it our way but I'm not sure if that means they'll see it the same - I'm no expert on Aslan".

"I'll handle that and the politics here."

"I can't do warrants. I don't have either the official power without admitting my father is dead or the equipment. You're going to have to come up with something other than official authority."

"The Omicron Division doesn't have that level of control," she said with a shake of her head. "We can flash badges and intimidate. That might work for some things, but not what you want."

"Damned if I know. Might have only punched out the side of the tower and wrecked the floors close to the blast. Might have caused the upper part of the tower to collapse. Or the whole building. Take your pick."

"He's right," Roscoe said. "Their contract was quite specific about their duties, and this is not among them. It's not even a matter of force majeure. They are a training cadre and will help keep the worlds being set up in the Deeps safe while doing it. That's it."

Walt: ”For the probe ship at Capitol: we don’t have any ship-sized teleportals to move a ship in and out; but could we place a portal onboard a drone-ship and send a drone both directions through to transmit near-real time system comm Intercepts and visual data? Kind of a drone data bank that moves a few feet into the ship and download ship data to it? Then it moves a few relative feet through the teleport to upload its data to y’all here?”

"The teleportals are not designed to do that with unthinking machines," Metz said. "I have an alternate plan for that."

"Conscious beings activated the teleportals, not the ships. Roscoe can do it, but he is more than a machine. Something lesser cannot. Don't worry. I have you covered."

Ciencia nods at that and stands. “Then I’ll let you be about the things I don’t need to know about. When will their ship be ready, Doctor Metz?”

“It’s ready now. All they need to do is go to Yamaguchi, pick it up, and be on their way.”

Over to you, players.

“I’ll be ready to go just as soon as I throw together one of each of our advanced toys in a locker. Give me a couple minutes.”

He’ll gather a collection of all their advanced weapons, Rexwell Suit, and grav bike in preparation for setting out.

It always takes me forever to go find the Ancients and other advanced prior civs equipment from the Road to Aki page. Any way you can add a link to that page to the “Your Ship and Tech You Have Access To” page? I’d add a link to the Road to Aki page, but the ship/tech page is locked.

What? No grav tank? You might want to ask if there is room for all that stuff first. There probably will be but when you are the diva brining all the suitcases on the trip, ya know, you should ask. ;)

He cannot. There might not even be room for all the grav bikes. You might have to pile all the rest of the crap in a spare stateroom. Or in your own. ;)

Kidding ‘bout the grav tank… 😉

I did type:
“I’ll be ready to go just as soon as I throw together one of each of our advanced toys in a locker. Give me a couple minutes.” With the key word “one of each”. So as not to speak for everyone.
