Aliendron
Facing away from the giant and concentrating upon his spell, he doesn't realize the deadly change of events until he turns about to scan Jon for a Charm.

Re: Activation Station II, The Cold Basement
Tlachtga
Tlachtga casts Faerie Fire on Jon, outlining him in violet light.
Everyone is now +2 to hit him.

Didn't factor in the FF +2. Wouldn't have helped anyway.

The cleric speaks in a commanding voices raising her hands and pointing to the head of the large creature. When she finishes her chant the head is now surrounded by a bright, making it difficult for the beast to see. (hopefully all three heads)

Re: Activation Station II, The Cold Basement
Consequences
Midday, Dark
Almost Total Darkness
Theo stays put, firing arrows into the massive target in front of him as if he knew this might happen at any moment. One of them connects for damage.
Yrias pushes forward to strike at the monster, hitting only a portion of its leg armor ineffectively.
Feanol also stays where she is, using a quick spell to send sizzling darts of energy at the beast without fail, causing it another minor injury.
Maag pushes past the unmoving Daisy, showing his anger at the sudden turn of events. Especially when he too hits only solid armor with his huge sword.
Remembering back to another similar encounter where he lost a friend, Alordan charges in to strike a heavy blow at this new giant threat, causing it to suddenly pay attention to these multiplying injuries.
When Andron spins around to learn if the enemy is charmed, he gets three separate positive readings. Though the results are confusing, as if the charm wasn't caused by magical means at all. With limited experience from the spell, the little alien-looking spellcaster isn't sure what to make of his unusual readings.
Tlachtga uses magic as well, wreathing the heads and shoulders in a pinkish hue that makes it easier for the others to target.
Wake slams his mace into the enemy trying to eat the Princess, casing enough pain to stagger the giants leg slightly. Torbath stays put, hoping he doesn't have to fight this thing like the others are.
Cresty attacks the monster with fervor, but his willingness outmatches his skills, hitting a protected area and causing no damage. Lerrick calls for a bright light to appear in front of the eyes of Jon head, and her prayers are answered when the shining orb appears to temporarily blind the massive monster.
The Princess is tossed about violently, eventually released by being thrown against a wall where Daisy rushes to her side to aid the elf.
The giant seems wobbly after being blinded, but the reason for the royal release becomes evident when the huge menace draws its sword and slowly turns to face the group. Toni and Geezer head seem different, their eyes sunk back into their heads and a little drool running down their chins. Neither speaks, but their sword arm rises, ready to rip one of its attackers in half now that it can see again.

"All three are Charmed!" He warns the others. His spell ability exhausted, instead of attempting a feeble attack with his staff he focuses his sight on Wake to check for the same influence.

Perhaps due to his feelings of guilt at directing the giant downstairs, Maag still can't bring himself to hit them.

The fighter roars again as he swings his blade in an upward arc trying to strike the giant in the midsection. AAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
to hit and damaged rolls respectively: [1d20+2]=14+2=16[2d8+1]=10+1=11
Lerrick
Lerrick hears the words of the Andron and immediately attempts to dispel magic on the charmed giant.
Lerrick casts Dispel magic in attempt to remove the charm controlling the giant.

Re: Activation Station II, The Cold Basement
Theoshouts, It was the pretty boy! We should have just kicked his booty! We still can, with the whole crew together. Then, probably quite unhelpfully, fDispel Magic? Invisibility? Smoke?Reverse Charmed Person? Mister Andron, think of something! We're about to kill... er, George and Lenny for the sake of Chucky and Mr. Fancy Pants! The honest ranger draws another fine, straight, beautifully-fletched market place arrow and nocks it... And looks left and right and waits. Looking left and right and back again, just waiting for a cue to draw and loose. He hears distracting footsteps pounding, padding, and slippering down the corridor....

Alordan also attempts to finish what they started - for better or worse.

Long Sword Damage(+1 str/+1 weapon) = S/M: [1d8+2]=5+2=7+4= 11 / L: [1d12+2]=6+2=8+4= 12

The Princess
After being roused by Tlachtga she sits up and tries to make sense of what just happened. "Thanks. Watch yourself, those teeth hurt."
Not eager to rejoin the fight, she keeps her distance. The Princess figures she could probably dart in and drag out any other people who fall.

Re: Activation Station II, The Cold Basement
Consequences
Midday, Dark
Almost Total Darkness
Aliendron shouts out his warning that falls on more ears than expected. When he looks towards Wake however, he detects no such charm, magical or otherwise.
Maag tries in vain to injure the three headed menace, his feelings of guilt for tricking the thing getting in his way. The beast rears its sword arm back to hack away violently at the thug, nearly chopping the half-orc in two with one fell swing that brings him to the floor bleeding profusely. 18 dam (Can I get a System Shock roll as well, please?)
While Theo hits it again with another arrow from a distance, Wake tries to pummel it with his magic mace, missing badly. The cleric is counter struck by a shield bash from the other arm, nearly knocking him from the fight as well. 12 dam
Cresty chops away again, causing another vicious wound to the brute. Lerrick casts a powerful abjuration, hoping to bring the giant out of its charm. Her spell doesn't seem to do any such thing, however.
Torbath wisely watches the darkness for any other threats to emerge, suddenly seeing Amun, Crabbe Luther, Grimm, Elnaerel, and Wes rushing towards the fight from the direction of the door they entered earlier. They see what is happening in the fight and begin to charge in to help. Wes starts casting a spell right where he stands. Then Theo begins shouting all manner of things, adding to the confusion of combat.
Tlachtga rushes to the side of Princess, aiding her with magical healing that quickly brings her back to the world of the living. Daisy tries her magic on the mammoth being, unsatisfied with the results when they also don't appear to do anything to stop the dangerous giant. Feanol has better luck, singing the enemy with another dart of energy shot from her fingertips.
Alordan strikes from his position, unable to administer any further damage while Yrias stabs directly upwards, hitting the monster right in the junk. All three heads let out an ear piecing howl that hurts to hear, finally staggering a bit from such a nasty and well placed blow.
Within the suffocated light of the room, you can tell that all three of the giants faces look different somehoow, distorted and pale, as if it were not merely charmed, but..........changed in some way.

The cleric steps back while pulling out a tiny hammer out of her belt pouch. She prays to her deity before hurling the hammer towards the one of the heads of the giant facing her direction. As it travels through the air it grows in size. It stops and hovers just above the head before quickly swooping down to delver a well placed strike on the giants face.
Lerrick cast spiritual hammer: to hit and damage rolls respectively: [1d20+4]=18+4=22[1d4]=4

The fighter attacks the creature again roaring as he swings his blade: AAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
to hit and damage rolls respectively: [1d20+2]=12+2=14[2d8+1]=13+1=14
