Yes I know that I just wanted folks to post actions in the event it does not work on all of or any of the hobgoblins.

Yeah I understand. Work has been crazy for me. Can't find help and more work all the time. On top of that I have to use up 2 weeks of vacation by the end of March. I took a week off in January that my wife had off and a friend we play RPGs with also took it off and played the Hyperborea RPG about 60 hours. It was a nice break but of course now I am backed up at work.

I'd apply if your work wasn't in St. Albans lol

Meant to work on the update yesterday after work but didn't know there was plans to make some donations of stuff we are getting rid of followed by Catan family game night after dinner.

No problem. It would be a nasty commute from where you are. Two of my employees live in NY, one drives an hour and a half each way.

Yeah, when I had to go up there once or twice a month at my prior job it was a 2 hour drive or so weather depending.

Yeah, it got down to -23 F here Friday night/Saturday morning. Had to jump 2 guys at work when I finished up at 11:30pm Friday night. The wind was the worst part, it was very windy so the wind chills were around -40 F. It didn't stop everyone from showing up Saturday for our FTF Hyperborea game so all good.

LOL. I have winter camped in Vermont when it was -38F at night and in Northern Quebec when the high for the week was -15F. I still do at least 1 winter camping trip a year but usually try for temps no lower than -10F. Of course I spend a lot of time in the woods so more knowledgeable and better prepared than most.

Very wise, it is not for the ill equipped and inexperienced. I wouldn't want to try it without someone more close to being an expert, basically with someone more experienced like you Rex.

Yeah, when it comes to winter camping it is best to start slow and with someone more experienced. I went on my first trip at the age of 12, with 7 other people. All but 1 of whom had done it before. But we were not the best equipped in those days. I think only 3 of the 8 even had sleeping bags. Young, dumb and poor. Always an interesting mix.

Game wise we most definitely do not have Redline anymore last post from them was August 16 2022. Probably also lost RiverGreenForest as his last post was December 25 2022. I think everyone else is here though. I'm trying to keep it all straight I think I'll just make a topic for people to post if they are going to be out for a while or are bowing out.
