What rank does Freya hold now?
Latest iteration...
Merc Company Org Chart v4.7.pptx
My understanding was that Freya was coming in as a Warrant Officer, but I could be wrong.

That is my recollection. Coming in as SNCO because of lack of military training/combat experience. It's just a starting position.
Of course, in a unit like ours, rank is less important than role. Well, except for that couple of hundred credits a month pay, but what are you going to spend that on? SEMC provides board, lodging and medical, plus gives you lots of expensive toys to play with.

Same with Kit, LT is just the starting point.
Jakob came in as a LT,, and I believe we're now put him up to CPT?

Yes, that's correct.

The Bindoner wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 5:37 pm What sizes are those? In terms of weapons/equipment capacity? How small can we get away with is the real question. Budget issues.
I'm intrigued as to how you will use these!
Let's say a bag/case big enough to tote a support weapon is going to cost 50KCr, longarms will fit in a 35KCr bag and handguns and SMGs in a 20KCr bag/case.
Longarms and support weapons will require some degree of reassembly before being ready to fire while smaller weapons in an oversize bag will not.
These bags and their internal processors and software provide "imperfect invisibility" and, even when functioning perfectly, are subject to the laws of physics and reality. They can nearly always be spotted/detected at close range and even further away their "stealth" can still be undone by interaction with airborne dust, snow, etc.

I'd be interested to hear that too.

The equipment that the team carry is not chameleon coated so is visible by comparison to the people carrying it. Just thought some means of moving stuff when sneaking might help Prerna.
Also, if we are to sneak sensors to places, some means of doing so that keeps the kit hidden while in transit is good.

Ah, I believe there may be a mistranslation of gear between separate rules editions/iterations.
The "Chameleon surface" on your combat armour blends the wearer's body heat into the background environment. This proofs the wearer against detection/spotting by IR or Thermal Imaging vision aids.
There is no visible light "Chameleoning" going on.
As per the above there is therefore no need for an IR Chameleon surface (or transport bag) on weapons or gear as, under Thermal examination, these are already at the same ambient temperature as a soldier's background.
While visible light "chameleon tech" is available (e.g. as a "Stealth Suit") the technology is not in general issue use by the military being more within the realm of criminals, spies or very committed journalists operating within different tactical parameters. One of these being the carrying of
minimal weapons and gear whose visible presence outside the stealth suit would immediately reveal the wearer!

Jakob's team has shrunk. Is there a reason for this? Kit's team is twice the size.

First, Kit's IFV should have a full team aboard, since it's the only one that can carry one.
Second, Kit is an active PC, while Jakob isn't at the moment.
None of the vehicles we have need more than one driver/pilot.

Jakob's team has 3 people in it. Why not just give them out to others and have Jakob stay on Collace.

Jakob's team can provide security for Prerna's team since they are assigned to the same vehicle. Add her team to his, and that's another full combat squad. Also, there's no room in any of the other vehicles for the troopers.
There's room on the G Carrier for two more people, so Jakob could have a little more firepower available. Maybe he could add a small tac missile team. He does have one of the two PGMPs, too.

This makes sense. Best deployment of the troops we have among the vehicles available. Until we can acquire more.
I like the flexibility of having Jakob here with a squad.

The above is a most persuasive argument (emphasis mine).
Jakob's half squad might form a useful "combat reserve"?
The other option for Jakob is to leave the Bartizan in good hands while you are away.
On the
co-pilot issue is this a reference to the gunship/launch?
While not a vehicle per se I believe it needed a co-pilot/gunner (the crew needing to cover ship's boat, sensor ops, gunnery and auto weapons between them possibly with some redundancy/specialisation in ship's boat or sensor ops?)
Please assume this individual has been found and recruited and arrange skills (either in skeleton 2,1 format) or full stats to taste.
