I am not clear where everyone is at this point.

You're all in the hallway right outside of the security guard's room / cells, except Hansel. There's a swarm of bug-bots forming outward from you towards the docking arm and also in the hallway behind you between you and the welcome center. Hansel is in the room sitting on the floor in the security guard's room, where a third swarm of bots is emerging, and trying to look inconspicuous and testing to see if the bug-bots will ignore him.

Balygyr is alone on the floor of the welcome center. Nora and Oliver haven't arrived yet, last seen down the guest quarters arm.

You need to:
a) pick a direction to move in the hallway
b) say how your character deals with a swarm of bug-bots in front of you

Sorry for being a flake this week! My wife goes in for surgery tomorrow. It should be a one day thing, but I expect to be offline until sometime Sunday, at least.

I'm starting to wonder if those robots are keyed to mutants.... with Bal very clearly dead and Hansel shooting in their VERY general direction, I'm surprised that they are staying with Bal and ignoring the rest of the party.

When I posted, I forgot that there was still a 'bot left kicking around. OK if I add a shot at it to my post? I think Taavi would see that the fight isn't over yet.

Are we near enough to our locked up weapons to retrieve them before taking the elevator?

I don't think we really have enough info to take on the "directors", especially if the population of the whole station (however many that is) mobilizes against us. I think we need to get more info before we do that. Either that, or I'm just not being clever. Mind you, I'm good with going either way. Hansel has a LOT of faith in himself!

But I think the smart money is "off the station."

You are in the room with the lockers and just secured it. Shadrach entered the locker (and partially broke it) to retrieve a number of your items before the fight. You can now retrieve the rest of your gear freely before moving on.

I've been dropping information through IC context, but want to make sure we're also OOC clear:

• Your long stay on B deck without significant effort to learn about the Directors/A Deck has only told you that the folks on B deck are pretty normal citizens and those promoted up rarely come back to talk about it.
• The robots were staying on Balygr's body because they were prepping it with occult ritual sigils which are the first clear and unambiguous sign that the directors are doing something infernal.
• Given that knowledge, the off-handed comment of your new companion that the directors are trying to traverse intergalactic space through some dimension is more poigniant.

I need a firm decision on your plan of action before I update IC. Leaving by teleporters on D (assuming you can unlock them), exploring or hiding on the dormant Deck C, or taking it to the Directors on Deck A are all viable choices.

I am traveling with my daughter all week so only on my phone. No big posts until I get back to my laptop.

I will be camping and otherwise spending time with my wife from Saturday through next Wednesday night. NPC me as necessary to keep the hobos murdering!

The beginning of my summer was awash in travel and house guests. Should be calmer the next few weeks, at least. I'll try to keep this moving.
