INITIATIVE baddies [1d6] = 5 party [1d6] = 1
The shadowy creature attacks
Tavin Monster attack [1d20] = 15, dmg [3d4] = 11 who goes down with a single swipe of a spectral claw.
Calmert holds up his holy symbol and attempts to cast it back. The creature appears to draw back but is now right in melee range for Calmert! The optical illusion startles the gnome!
Odo's arrow
, while on target, passes through the creature without effect strikes the creature solidly!
Thurwin casts his missile
magic missile [1d6+1] = 1+1 = 2 (
At level 4 he gets 1 missile, at level 5 he gets 3)
Calthas retreats fearfully.
Sean swings his longsword,
Sean melee [1d20] = 7 ineffectually.
Calmert and
Sean are in melee.
Bror is stable (
Odo can act).
Tavin is down.
Zef is up next round, he can pick up
Glimmer and attack.

Zef shivers and shakes off the affect of the creature's strike, whatever it was...and wades back into melee.
Zef Glimmer hand axe +1 [1d20+4] = 5+4 = 9 damage [1d6+4] = 1+4 = 5

Odo glances at Tavin, knowing that the monk needs aid. But he also knows that an arrow from his magic bow could spell the difference between victory and death. He fires, hoping to put an end to this surprisingly tough threat.
Short bow +1 (THAC0 19): [1d20+5] = 15+5 = 20 [1d6+1] = 6+1 = 7

He'll read the scroll, hoping that it will buy enough time to kill or repel this thing.

Glimmer and swings but misses!
Odo scores another hit!
Thurwin reads his scroll. He feels the barrier raise but it does no good against his foe! Is it not undead?
Calmert Calmert mace [1d20] = 19, dmg [1d6] = 2 connects with his magic mace. With a scream that chills the bones, the drelb returns to the negative material plane from whence he came. The haunting custodian is no more.
Tavin is getting worse.
Bror is stable but unconscious.

Thurwin will go to Tavin's side and administers one of the two doses of his potion of healing.
OOC: This potion wasn't obtained from the merchant, so hopefully it's okay.

Calmert cries, "Save the potions! You'll need them should St. Cuthbert choose me be at his side." The Gnome then moves to Tavin and says a prayer of healing.

Seeing that he isn't fully healed,
Thurwin administers a dose

Tavin is looking better, although he's still shivering as is
Zef. Preternatural cold.

Unghhh.... chi very off balance... thank you everyone for not letting my soul slip this mortal thread. I need some rest and soup. Tavin will make his way to where they usually sleep with the party. He'll hit Bror with CLW. Do we chance a fire tonight?
