Ferris
Hears the start of the commotion and sees the ogre get caught by Brufrigs initial bolt. Trying to copy his comrade Ferris kneels by the top most skiff and fires with his own pickbow. Without tracing the arc of fire the gnome squirms to hide underneath the skiff like a turtle.
ferris crossbow [1d20+1] = 10+1 = 11 bolt damage [1d4+1] = 3+1 = 4

Wes will leave off fumbling with the skiffs and move to take cover against the wall of one of the huts, nervous to fire off a bullet in case it hits the dwarves. He will draw his scimitar and heft his shield and if an ogre runs passed he will lash out at its back with his sword.

Day 2, On The River Trail
Rumble In The Jungle
Godsday, 23rd of Reaping
Midday, Very Humid, Buggy
Panic sets in as one of the yellow skinned ogres stumbles towards Brufrig and Keilif who are preparing for its charge in between the long huts. Ferris looks up just as the 9 foot tall ogre moves into his line of sight. He fires his pickbow almost on instinct, but the rushed shot flies wide of the oncoming brute. The gnome darts under the side of the skiff to avoid attracting too much attention to his badly injured self.
The priest scoffs at the dwarf when he is told to flee.
"What? And leave you here to have all the fun by yourself? Preposterous!" Bru's crossbow bolt rips through the air and sticks into the massive bare chest of the ogre. It grunts loudly but keeps right on coming. Keilif squats down and grabs up a handful of the dry dirt at his feet, ready to toss it as the ogre approaches.
Franny hears a dwarven battle cry that ends in the word bitch, so she knows her friend is in trouble. She lets go of the skiff and runs in the direction of the battle, arriving on the scene too late to make her attack. Waes draws his curved sword and moves to the long side of the hut near Aldo. He peers around the structure and sees the 2 elves looking out of the opening. All three of them watch as the first ogre clears the edge of the long hut. Bonnie takes off towards the smaller huts while the second sleepy ogre rises from the smaller smoky shack and begins bumbling towards the action.
The first ogre bounds clumsily in between the long huts and reaches Brufrig, Keilif, and Franny. Already out of spells and not carrying a ranged weapon, the priest tosses his handful of dry dirt up at the eyes of the monster. Watching closely to see if has any effect, all three notice that the huge, bulbous eyeballs of this enormous creature are extremely red and sporting half-closed, heavy eyelids. He also reeks of skunk musk and stale smoke, along with its natural intense body odor. He raises his huge fists, ready to club down at the 3 invaders.

Brufrig Granitesunder
With his eyes watering from the stench rolling off the ogre, Brufrig's vision blurs and he misses in his attempt to eviscerate the yellow foe.

Ferris
Decides that another strategy is needed. he combs a bit of lambs' wool out of his beard and rubs it in the cusp of his hand, blowing into with a soft"ZZZzzzing"sound.
From his hand a small wing of green angry hornets seem to fly in drilled formation. They form into a ball sized mass and fly around the long hut corner to swamp angrily, buzzing around the face of the ogre.
(phantasmal force spell cast).
Then Ferris goes back to being a turtle and watches proceedings from underneath the overturned skiff.

surprise attempt [1d20+5] = 3+5 = 8 damage [1d8x2] = 4x2 = 8 but she seems a bit off put by the smelly wiggling toes.

Day 2, On The River Trail
Rumble In The Jungle: Round 1
Godsday, 23rd of Reaping
Midday, Very Humid, Buggy
The stupor of the dumb jungle ogres is obvious as they move in to press their attack. Neither of them seems too sure of foot at the moment as they advance, especially the one who was just sleeping.
The first ogre scoffs at Keilif's thrown dirt as he clenches both of his meaty fists into a single battering ram, trying to smash at the much shorter Brufrig. His lack of balance allows the burly dwarf to duck under the mighty blow. The dwarf’s return attack misses wide, as does Franny’s, as does Keilif’s, causing the creature to reel back again for another smashing attempt. The 2 ogres are mumbling a weird kind of mantra to each other as they attack. It sounds like they might be trying to speak in the common tongue.
“PRO TEK HERB! PRO TEK HERB!” Their words come out slow and slurred.
Waes stays put where he is, watching and waiting for a target to get closer. Ferris decides that hiding under a boat until the danger passes isn’t exactly the best strategy for his friend’s survival. He pulls out a clump of wool and uses it to aid his magicks. Instantly, a swirling cloud of bees appears before his gesturing fingers. The bees shoot out from the little prestidigitator’s nimble fingers and fly straight towards the head of the second ogre. In his already weakened condition, Ferris wisely remains by the boats and out of the dangerous melee as he commands his fake silent green hornets to attack.
Bonnie disappears around the side of the smaller hut just as Krystal sneaks out to try to make an attack on the once sleeping ogre. She is met along the way as the now half awake brute closes in on the group. Just then, Aldo the cat assassin sprints up to the monster and tears right up its leg, clawing and biting as he climbs, trying to reach the brute’s bald yellow head. Krystal is shocked at first, but then uses the distraction to her advantage, trying to slip around behind the beast. She isn’t able to make contact with her deadly blade, however. The three combatants suddenly notice a ball of what looks like green bees flying straight for the ogres head. The bees dive at it without a sound and begin to buzz the beasts giant yellow melon. The ogres retaliation on Krystal is weakened by the confusion of cat and bee, allowing her to easily dodge the smelly beasts counter attack.

Seeing the elf take on the ogre alone Waes will sigh and shake his head, then heft his spear and charge the monsters back as quietly as he can.
[1d20] = 10 : [1d6] = 5
(Possibly +2 for rear attack and +2 for a charge)

Ferris
Not wanting to fire into the melee the gnome will conduct the orchestra of imaginary hornets to buzz around the ogres' face and then form into an arrow which flies up, around, then down and then up the trouser legs or loin cloth of the ogre.

Brufrig Granitesunder
Now that he's had a moment to get used to the powerful body odor of the ogre, Brufrig is able to concentrate fully as his halberd cuts deep into their enemy's flesh.

will use the cat and hornet confusion to dodge past the big ogre oaf and into the hut he was resting in if she can do so without provoking an attack. otherwise she stabs at his 'hornets nest',

Day 2, On The River Trail
Rumble In The Jungle: Round 2
Godsday, 23rd of Reaping
Midday, Very Humid, Buggy
The dwarves hatred for ogres is obvious as Brufrig and Franny hack into the yellow beast with their axes. The thing nearly falls from their heavy blows, wondering why it decided to pick a fight with these puny invaders in the first place. Keilif tries to use his mace to finish off the monster, but his blow lands ineffectively. The beast clubs down at the trio again, his loss of blood negatively effects his errant swing. They all start to hear a slurred female voice that sounds a lot like Bonnie shouting out over the battle, saying.....
"HEY! HEY BIG GUY! Me want food! Herbs are good!"
"Ooh, watch the short bearded ones! They seem shifty!"
"MORE HERB! MORE HERB!"
From a distance, Ferris manipulates his silent hornets, humming softly in his head as he does so. The bees fly around the ogres head before dive bombing into his rustic jungle loin cloth. Waes feels bad that Krystal is left to fight the ogre with only a cat and some fake bees to help her. He valiantly rushes into the battle, just missing the distracted brute from behind with his spear thrust. He arrives just in time to see Krystal conveniently leaving, heading towards the smoky hut that the ogres came from. Aldo climbs higher up the 9 foot beast, scratching and clawing along the way. The ogre grabs at Aldo, just barely catching him by his long tail. He spins the cat around a few times before slamming him into the ground at his feet.
6 dam This group can also hear things being shouted across the clearing. Things like.....
"Nice sneaking, Druid! He won't see THAT coming!"
"OOOH! That'll leave a mark!"
When Krystal arrives at the smoking hut, she finds Bonnie sitting up on top of the thatch roof. Smoke is billowing out of a freshly chopped hole and Bonnie is having a laugh and some fun as she sits up there with extremely reddened eyes in her wispy cloud of pungent smoke. The inside of the hut is smoky as well, but the new vent in the roof is allowing the smoke to clear slowly. Through the smoke, the elves see that there is a fire of some kind still burning in the hut, but they can’t determine exactly what it is through the opaque conditions.

Waes spins and jabs his spear at the ogre as it swats at the cat. He dislikes cruelty to animals and thrusts as hard as his weak arms can manage.

shoots at the cat, no I mean he shoots at the ogre swinging the cat.
ferris crossbow [1d20+1] = 10+1 = 11 bolt damage [1d4+1] = 3+1 = 4 then ducks back under the skiff.
