He collects himself three near identical flat pebbles scoring one with a throwing axe to differentiate it from its siblings. " 'Ere you go - same as the shell game" He tries variations on disguising the movements of the stones getting Aster to pick the location of the marked one.

After establishing serial successes on her side she begins a run of loses. Garvin's blue eyes twinkle with mischief as he states "Now you're sharp but you might need a bit more in the game to bring back yer edge". He adds innocently "We could play for forfeits or I dunno... 'ow about clothes?"

The game continues with Garvin down a waistcoat and his tie versus Aster's shoes. He pauses and in an indignant tone complains "Lady Aster Slade... are you deliberately wrigglin' to obtain an unfair advantage? Or... 'ave you by now worked out that the game's rigged but still can't tell 'ow?" He kisses her neck and when she next looks down to her surprise her choice of three stones has become... four. The "new" fourth stone is her target - the one with the mark. Garvin waggles his newly adorned ring finger "I do believe Metz, Roscoe an' Bilis 'ave completely revolutionized shopliftin' to the greater benefit of the Imperium at large! That's the Delancey caper laid out for you: "bait an' switch" but with a replica. O' course there's a bit of yer Garvin finesse an' class thrown in - but there it is. Done".

A visit to the Jewelers Quarter to look in a few of the "establishments". Add a bit o' the theatrics over eyein' up the merchandise an' a hyper detailed visual scan gives the template for fabin' the dimensions of the replica. Delancy's will bore us silly about provenance an' what its made of so we really can't go wrong makin' the replica as realistic as possible - weight, density, etc. We then promise to come back to continue after lunch. Gives us time to fab an exact replica an' then we return to make the switch. Maybe 'ave a "clean" paparazzi drone bounce off the window or fly in to trigger security if we need a distraction but it's really just slight of 'and with a twist".

As long as you remember that you can only store one item per ring. After a few, you might have difficulty activating the correct one unless you get different activation words and can remember the right one at the right time.

Once everyone has had their fill, the packing up for the trip back is accomplished in short order. There is an unexpected complication when both Aster and Ciencia start feeling nauseous about halfway there. By the time you get to the ship, they are having the full-blown symptoms of the second half of the uplift process kicking off.

Ciencia is having blinding headaches and occasionally losing her vision. Metz had the same and assures her that she'll be fine. Aster has uncontrollable trembling and loss of control of her extremities. Walt recognizes that as what he had and reassures her.

Both are badly disappointed that this is ruining their wedding night but promise to more than make up for it tomorrow night. Their husbands can see them off to bed and take care of them overnight. Based on your own history with the process, they should be recovered by late morning, though Metz recommends a trip to the Ancients city to see if they can get the visions and be fully caught up with everyone else. A bit more disruptive now, but less down the road, and you can resume normal operations after lunch. The ladies agree before they are trundled off to bed.

As Garvin is helping Aster to their new, larger room, he sees Void padding down the hall to his room with a white, fluffy cat at his side. The cat looks back at you and seems to raise his chin in acknowledgement before the two vanish through the Iris valve.

Roscoe and Jaelah say their goodnights and slip into their room where he will happily let her set the pace.

Fredrick and Terresa are concerned for their charge but are convinced to go have fun. Terresa drags Fredrick into their room and firmly closes the door.

Bianca puts Walt through the autodoc and removes his scars. When he comes out, she is no longer alone in the medical bay. Standing beside her is a taller woman with red hair and green eyes, in a conservative yet sexy green dress that highlights her good looks. She is right at Walt's height with broad shoulders (for a woman) and is fit and heavily muscled (also for a woman). She's as well-endowed as her sister, but it looks like less because she is so much more. The final thing you note about her is her wide hips. She has a figure that will no doubt make men drool. Is that something on your chin?

"Walt, meet my sister, Bona. Bona, Walt. I'm sure the two of you have a lot to talk about, so I'll go see about making my husband lose the ability to speak while you get acquainted. Night."

Arkar and Spicoli can do as they wish. Spicoli is still working on the confiscated electronics, so he has something to do. Arkar's actions are up to him.

Unless anyone has any objections, I'll move the timeline forward this evening to after lunch the next day, so you can get back into the thick of it. Any shenanigans--or caring for the sick--for tonight can be played out while that proceeds and not disrupt things.

Once back aboard, he’ll entertain her with food, drink, and talk…assessing her personality, resident memories, and just getting to know her. When they are finished with each other, hopefully after many hours of talk, he’ll bring her to Bilis’ chamber and ask for Bilis to fab all the gear and clothing available in which Bona is interested. He’ll have copies of mission kit she might not yet be interested in but is common for the crew to be placed in the Ships armory or locker. When the night is through, he’ll show her to her room (see ooc note) and say “Goodnight” with a gentlemanly kiss to the back of her hand.

Walt previously asked Roscoe to divide his quarters into two to permit Bona her own space unless and until she and Walt find themselves a couple. He does not wish to impose anything on her that she does not want, and Walt expects things to take a bit of time to develop.

She'll sit on one of the benches and try out some of the arm weights. Her muscles move in interesting ways as she uses the weights like she has done so before. As that is unlikely, she probably did some research while you were walking. Being a computer in a biological body does have some perks.

She even has you spot her for a couple of reps while she is reclined. That presents some novel challenges as it is very hard to focus when you have a mindboggling view of her cleavage. She's focused enough that her dress rides up just a bit more than is polite before she catches it and calls a halt. Her skin is glistening as she sits up, a little flushed from the effort.

"Sorry. I'm still getting used to a physical form. These feel good. I think I'll enjoy spending time in here. I'll have to make some workout clothes that won't give the men heart failure. I want to be part of the scene, not the center of attention."

Her gaze flickers down, as your interest is showing right at her eye level, and she smiles before slowly raising her gaze back to your face. She's blushing but doesn't seem to have let that stop her from getting an eyeful. Well, fair is fair, after all. So do you.

"Sorry about that. Well, maybe not as much as I should be. A girl does like to know a man is interested, after all. This gives me hope for the future, if I work hard enough. It also gives me something to think about later."

She prefers beer to wine, or at least she claims to. She does seem to enjoy it, though she tries a few kinds before she settles in. She'll be honest. She's starting with Bianca's subservient personality but is taking active steps to push beyond her boundaries. She wants to be assertive without being b!tchy. Forward without being pushy. Her memories are limited to what Bilis experienced before she had a body. This physical existence is where she intends to become more than she was.

When they are finished with each other, hopefully after many hours of talk, he’ll bring her to Bilis’ chamber and ask for Bilis to fab all the gear and clothing available in which Bona is interested. He’ll have copies of mission kit she might not yet be interested in but is common for the crew to be placed in the Ships armory or locker.

She will ask advice on the kinds of clothing she'll need. Then she will order it all. Where it isn't combat or utility oriented, she'll have Bilis give it a feminne flair without going overboard. The only thing that doesn't get that treatment is her swimsuit for when she uses the hot tub. Let's be honest. There isn't much to it. It will--barely--cover the goods but will leave very little nothing to the imagination.

She'll take out the mission kits and look at everything at one of the tables in the commons. Those things she doesn't know about will earn questions. She says she wants to have a guided trip to use them all in a real-world setting. Especially the guns.

Her eyes gleam when looking at the high energy weapons and her breath picks up a little. She'll smile and lick her lips in a way that would be pure sex if she wasn't caressing a fusion pistol. Or, maybe for you, it still is.

When the night is through, he’ll show her to her room (see ooc note)Void's room and say “Goodnight” with a gentlemanly kiss to the back of her hand.
